No Sweat but Lenses are Delicate - GR8 Customer Service

When I first got these glasses, I was very pleased. As for function, I have yet to have sweat run down across the Slips lenses. (wearing a head sweat also helps). But, my dissappointment with Tifosi came after I had broken two sets of lenses. The first lense to break was a mirrored lense. I threw away the broken lenses. Not very long after, the "red" lenses broke. I commented to a fellow cyclist about that being the second pair of lenses to break and he informed me of the "lense replacement warranty" that Tifosi offered. So, I called Tifosi and they said they would replace both lenses for $10 shipping and handling. So, I filled out their lense replacement form and noted that I also wanted the mirrored lense as well as the "red" lense. Although I only returned the red lense...because I had tossed the mirrored lense...they only shipped me a new red lense. $10 shipping and handling fee for $2.82 postage. Id say I paid for those lenses and there is nothing valid about their "free" lense replacement. As a side note, both lenses cracked/broke in the same exact spot, in the center. Their rep on the phone told me I was probably removing/installing the lenses in the wrong manner. Personally, I think the fractures occur when I place the frames on my helmet and slide the earpieces through the helmet vents. I plan on calling Tifosi again and asking why I didnt receive the mirrored lense. Or, maybe Ill be getting another package and another $10 charge??
1/17/08 - Spoke with Tifosi today about the problems I had. They were going to send me the mirrored lenses I had wanted, no charge. Kudos to their customer service for making things right.
