MORE TIME RIDING- LESS TIME FIXING FLATS     On: 2008-05-08

THICK TUBE, SLIME INSIDE, MAKES FOR A DEPENDABLE TUBE- JUST THE THICKNESS OF THE TUBE WOULD BE OF GREAT USE, PAIR THAT WITH THE SEALING PROPERTIES OF SLIME AND A TUBE IS CREATED THAT CAN MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE IN THE AMOUNT OF FLATS ONE HAS TO REPAIR. IF YOU RIDE TRAILS WITH LOTS OF THORNS OR HAVE BEEN SPENDING ALOT OF TIME MENDING FLATS, THESE TUBES WILL HELP TREMENDOUSLY. IT SURE IS MORE FUN TO BE ON A BIKE PUNISHING THE TRAILS THAN OFF IT FIXING A FLAT!
IF YOU HAVE A ROAD BIKE AND HAVE CHANGED MORE THAN ONE OR TWO FLATS IN A SINGLE DAYS RIDE YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOTICE THE BENEFITS OF USING A SLIME FILLED TUBE. (I DONT BELIEVE SLIME MAKES THE THORN RESISTANT TUBES FOR 700S, JUST A REGULAR PRESTA VALVE TUBE WITH SLIME.) GREAT FOR TRAINING.

Slime would get into the valve, rendering the tube unusable. After tired of it constantly leaking air thru the slimed valve, I decided to replace it and had to cut out the valve stem, but that was not enough. Then I had to puncture the tube with a screwdriver just to get it off my rim.
Awesome tube     On: 2007-10-05

This is a great tube. I got two punctures in my tire at the same time - a rather large nail and a second piece of metal. I pulled them both out and air escaped for about 30 seconds, but then the slime blocked the holes. I reinflated the tires and have biked 50 miles since then without doing any repairs on the tube or losing any more air from the tire.

Terrific tube well worth the money.
