I guess it's ok

I read all the reviews and thought it was a bad idea to buy it but I had very little money and really wanted a beach cruiser so I went for it. When it arrived the box was really beaten up but luckily nothing was bent or dinged. I was amazed that there was nothing to cushion the parts, no packing peanuts, no cardboard inserts. The parts were just thrown in a box.

It didnt come with any instructions so I had to look them up online and print them out. After about a half an hour of assembly I road it for all of a minute when the chain got caught on the chain guard (lol) so I had to bend it a little, it hasnt given me any problems since though. So then I road it again and the handle bar and seat both turned around in their sockets and I almost crashed. So I had to have my boyfriend tighten them so hard that the seat doesnt spin anymore but it will never adjust again, its permanent where it is.

The handle bar foam is really cheap and I can see it just cracking and falling off in not too long.

The seat is so uncomfortable that my pelvis and tail bone feel bruised after only a 3 mile ride.

The handle bar at its highest adjustment and the seat at its lowest adjustment is not at the heights normal beach cruisers should be. A normal beach cruiser allows you to sit up straight while riding whereas this bike I have to bend over slightly because the handlebars are at the same height as the seat (almost like a racing bike).

When I first road it I was quoted saying "This bike is a death trap!". Now admittedly after finagling some of the parts its no longer a death trap but it is still a reeeeeally cheaply made bike. I have a mountain bike from walmart that was the same price and its far better quality. I really think youre paying for the style of this bike and not its parts, otherwise youd be paying like maybe $50 for it. I will admit this bike looks super cool and it does get me around for fun but if youre planning on using this bike a lot then dont buy it (your butt will thank you).

As soon as I save up money I plan to sell this bike on Craigslist and get an Electra or maybe a Schwinn from a bike store where I can test it out first.

My brother and I purchased this bike for our Mom and she loves it! Shes had it for almost 2 years now and it still looks new and has held up well. This was a great buy...Now I need to get me one.

Got the bike as a surprise for my birthday this year and put it together pretty quickly. Not a lot of assembly was required and the fenders were not dented on mine even though I was afraid that they would be after reading a lot of the reviews on here. The front tire was bent, so I called up the company and they sent out a replacement tire right away. I think I received it the day after I called and had no problems with the bike once the new wheel was on.

The bike is so cute and I love to ride it! So far I have had no problems except for the wheel issue in the beginning.

The bike was a gift for my niece. It arrived right away and we had no problem finding all the pieces and putting it together.

Good bike fore money

Bike was good. It was a little bent in box.
Amazon was unable to ship it by Christmas so it was a few weeks late.
They did very little to help me out. Gave me a $10 credit for my trouble.
Should have charged them my hourly wage for following up on the order 6 times. Then they would have paid me to take the bike!

Do not waste your $$$ or time.

I ordered this thinking it was nice for the price. It arrived in a beat-up box, but my neighbor and I put it together. The tires turned out to be flat, the rims bent and several other problems. Because the box was damaged already, I had to beg for a bike box to return it. Im still trying to find someone to help me take it apart so I can send it back. Then in 3 - 4 weeks time, Ill finally get my money back after all that aggravation. Ive been an Amazon customer for YEARS and have never had any complaint. Im surprised Amazon would carry such a shoddy product. Dont buy it!!!

Stellar Strand Cruiser

Very impressed with the easy assemble and pristine body of the bike. Great color, very feminine and a blast to ride. Takes a little extra ummph, due to the one speed build but worth the cost completely.

Women's cruising bike

Feels like a cheap product

Bender was bent. Box was damaged badly when arrived. Did not feel sturdy, or safe, feels like a cheap product. Seriously, better to get a better quality for 10$/20$ more or even the same price. I returned mine and got a much better, sturdier Huffy (almost same price).

Great bike! Watch out for bent rims and dented fenders!

I love my new bike! After reading the reviews, I was leary about purchasing it. My bike did come with a dented fender and a bent rim. I called Amazon and they made things right with me on this purchase. If you are looking for a cruiser and dont care if it may come with a ding in the fender, I would suggest it!

OK cheap Bike, but buy the Schwinn Hollywood

This bike is OK for a cheap bike, but about half as comfortable and well-made as the Schwinn Hollywood, which is a mere $30 more from Fogdog through amazon with free shipping. Compared to the Schwinn, this bike feels cheap and is not very comfortable. I bought a Scwhinn cruiser at the same time and whenever Im not riding it, everyone wants to ride it and leave the Huffy in the garage. Get the picture? Get the Scwinn.

Too cheap

I buy many bikes from Amazon for my beach house where everything rusts so I try not to spend too much. This is the worst I have ever purchased out of the 9. It arrived quickly - I am an Amazon prime member. The box was punctured by the wheel nuts. It was simple to put together. The rear wheel was bent. Instead of sending a replacement wheel they sent another bike. I then had to take the wheel from the replacement bike and put on the first assembled bike. Then I had to put the bent wheel on the replacement bike and send it back. The shipping did not cost me anything but it was a hassle. Customer service was good. The bike makes a funny noise when you stop peddling to glide. I have tried everything I can think of to stop the noise. Nothing appears to be rubbing. The handlebars grips are cheap foam rubber that tear easily. I have a similar Huffy bike that is many years old and is a much better bike. This one rides like the cheap bike that it is. I would spend more to get a better bike.

Okay, so the front fender was a little dinged when I got it, but that didnt bother me. What does bother me is the incredibly, painfully complicated instruction sheet (written in 4 pt. type) that came with it. Im fairly capable around the took kit, but for Petes sakes, the instructions were Byzantine. Sadly, the bike is still sitting in a corner of my living room, in parts, waiting for the day I get the frijoles up to try to put it together.

Poor package and handling

Love the bike and the look of it, but when it was delivered to the door the shipping box was falling apart and both of the chrome fenders were badly dented, and none of the tools to put it together were there, they probably fell out. If you really like this bike go to a nearby bike store or target and pick it up. very disappointed.

my bike was received with a dent in the rear fender

I received my bike and it had a dent in the rear fender, i tried to send Amazon a reply to ask them to replace it but there was nothing for comments to get a replacement, i am not satisified with my bike and the customer service was no where to be found. i will never get a bike shipped again.

I received my bike WAYY earlier than expected.. sort of mind boggling the way it was shipped so promptly.

The bike had a dent on the fender.. but with a bike at this cheap price what can you expect?

I received all of the parts, came 50% assembled.. The directions were a little hard to read, but other than that the bike is great.

The seat I had some issues on.. and their were a lot of stickers, but they were easily removed.

Overall, for th price its excellent
