Good helmet

Pros: Light - wont put too much strain on young kids neck; very young child friendly design.
Cons: Wish the padding was a bit more substantial. Padding is adhered w/ velcro which can come un-done.

Fits great

We love it, and the fit is super for our 18 month old. Still a little big, but the pads that come with it make it snug.

Our two year took to this immediatley, which from my perspective is half the battle. Hopefully we wont ever have to find out about the effectiveness of this product.

My grandson loves it

I got this helmet so my grandkids could ride with me. My 2 year old grandson came over just after I got it and I told him that we would use it for going bike riding when the weather got nice. He tried it on and it fit great right out of the box. He enjoyed running around with it on and has put it on every time hes come over since then. We finally had a chance to ride and it was easy to get him to wear it for our ride. A great purchase!

OMG, my 3 year old looks so cute in this!

Sorry, just had to say that. It also fits well and offers great protection without being heavy.

Its going to take a little fussing to get the straps the way they should be, but other than that, this was a great purchase.

We LOVE this helmet! My 15 month old wears it whenever he rides in our bike trailer... it is adorable, and he is learning that he has to wear it to go riding bikes! The different sized pads work great... he should be able to wear this helmet for a long time! :-)

Fun, colorful - easy to use

Easy to "custom-fit" this helmet with two different sized pads to insert into the helmet - one thin and one thicker. My son calls this his "bike hat" and he knows he must wear it in order to ride his bike. He likes it so much, he wears it sometimes even after hes finished riding the bike. Bell is a great company, with a great product.

great protection for my 2yo twins

my 26-month-old twin boys have a larger head than most kids. the bell shell helmet in M/L comes with thick/thin fit pads. with the thick fit pads, the helmet was perfect for them, and now they have room to grow into the helmet since we also have thin pads to make it roomier inside. love it!
