Elegant and functional     On: 2008-06-16

This bike rack is simple and elegant. I use it every day, and its relatively easy to hang the bike from and take it back down.
good solid rack     On: 2008-05-13

This rack is nice and solid and holds the bike well. It works especially well when you can anchor to a stud, but its been OK so far for me in the first few months anchored into concrete with included wallplugs. I set mine up so that the back wheel would usually be resting on the ground, to reduce the load on the hook.
I also bought the bottom tire holder to protect the wall. Its OK - doesnt really serve much purpose, and its a matter of opinion whether a lump of plastic is less of an eyesore than a tire mark on the wall.
I use a variety of sizes of bikes on these, and so far theyve all been OK. Positioning of the bottom tire holder isnt going to perfect for all bikes if you use for more than one.
Execellent Idea     On: 2008-04-07

Does just what I needed it to do, get my bike off the garage floor. Easy to install. Great product
for my road bike     On: 2008-01-21

for my small apartment, this set up is the most appropriate. it came with all necessary screws and mollys. its holding up my road bike without ripping a hole in the drywall yet!
Not true that it fits all wheel sizes     On: 2008-01-19

From the product description: "It conveniently accommodates any wheel size--from touring to phat, chunky mountain tires." This is absolutely not true. It did not work with two different mountain bikes we tried, both with 26 inch tires, which is pretty much the standard/medium sized tire for mountain bikes now. This rack may be good for road/racing bike wheels, but it absolutely does not fit many popular mountain bike tires once installed. This needs to be clear to the consumer. I feel like I wasted a lot of time and energy on this. Popular mountain bike wheels have been bigger for at least a decade now. The products advertisement needs to be clear that it cannot accommodate such wheels. This is apparently an old design, and all Delta seems to have done to keep up with bike trends was change fat to "phat" in their advertisement. How about actually changing the design to keep up with the times or the advertisement to reflect accurate information?

Does what it is supposed to

with a bit of style. Easy to put up and makes it easy to hang your bike completely off the ground, saving your back tire and rim a bit of wear. The included tire tray is a nice addition, keeping your wall free from tread marks.
Nice piece of work...     On: 2007-01-16

While a bit pricey for what it is (I could get all of the pieces from Harbor Freight for less than $5 if so inclined), I do like this rack. Easy to set up, and does what its supposed to do.

Great product     On: 2007-01-10

I was looking for a way to put away my bikes for winter but couldnt find an affordable device, this is a very sturdy and simple unit that can be quickly installed under ten minutes, just be sure to measure how high you can elevate your bike so you dont install the hook out of your reach.

The bike rack works well. Make sure to find a beam behind the sheetrock to install as it will simply fall off the wall if the top rack is not securely tightened into the wall.
