![]() Delta Rothko Rolling Bicycle Stand By: Delta Average Rating: 4.0 Total Reviews: 6 More Information Easy Set-up This product came fast and was very easy to set up. I had it out of the package and in use withing 15 minutes - great product for the money. Good Bike Stand for the price Things I Like: It is easy to put together, they even include the required tools. There are wheels so you can move the bike around easily. The build quality is pretty good considering the price. I also like the fact that it can be adjusted to fit either road or mountain bike wheels. You can easily use either the front wheel or the back wheel to mount the bike, it makes it very easy to keep my bikes organized and not leaning all over each other. Things I dont like: For road bikes, the wheels spokes will likely lean against the metal frame that is keeping the bike up. It doesnt seem to be a big problem but it is a concern, especially if you have a very nice wheelset and/or expensive spokes. Also, my mountain bike tires are 26"x2.2 and they are a bit too wide for the stand. It will fit, but it is a hard to get the tire free. Conclusion: Overall, I am satisfied since it is relatively inexpensive. I will probably buy at least one more for my other bikes. Great Mobile Bike Stand The Delta Rothko Rolling Bike Stand is well made and is extremely flexible. This stand will keep your road bikes and mountain bikes vertical without leaning the bikes against anything while allowing you to easily relocate your bikes when necessary. I personally own four of the rolling stands, and I use them for road bikes and mountain bikes. If you are not hanging your bikes, I highly recommend the Delta Rothko Rolling Bike Stand. Evaluation of Delta Rothko Rolling Bicycle Stand This bicycle stand is a fine product in all features except one. The arches had a tendency to lean against the spokes in my wheel. I expect over time the spokes would need adjusting sooner. Works fine but a fastener was missing The Delta Rothko bike stand is easy to assemble and move around, lightweight, and holds the bicycle well as long as the surface is level. The only complaint I have is that the parts package was missing a nut. Emailing the company only garnered a automated reply to visit their parts store on the web. Easy to assemble, works well The stand assembles in around 10-15 minutes, depending on if you know which pre-drilled holes to use or not. The build quality is reasonable, but the bolts for the casters dont all fit screw in evenly. This doesnt affect the functionality, but seems like something that shouldnt be an issue w/ todays manufacturing technologies. The casters are great, allowing some movement of the bike and stand without removing the bike. The only areas of improvement are maybe some better design or feature that further prevents the wheel from tipping/leaning in either direction. Preferably a simple machining or stamping solution as part of the regular manufacturing process that doesnt increase the price would be best. Compactness is good, too. I have 6 bikes in the garage, and they all store neatly next to each other. Value, convenience, and size are this stands strong points. |
