VERY Nice!     On: 2007-12-14

This is nice light. It is extremely visible from far away. It also clips onto the topeak bag I own. It is very convienent to just clip on and remove it from the bag. Thank you for a wonderful product.
Great Buy     On: 2007-11-17

Great product for price paid, I love the compact size, and the methods for attaching the light are great, L.E.D.s are very bright, Product feels very durable, and to top it off the products water resistance is great if you plan ride in the rain. The only disappointment was the lack of presets (all it can do is Blink and be constantly on)
This light absolutely sucks     On: 2007-11-09

Dont waste time or money on this garbage - you cant mount it, and the replacement battery is very expensive. Useless!

Good light, lousy mounting bracket     On: 2007-10-05

This light LOOKED like it would be very effective at night. However, I never got the chance to try it out in the dark. I mounted it to the bracket on my recently-purchased Topeak MTX E-Type rear luggage rack exactly according to the directions. The light was securely fastened -- or at least as much as the mounting bracket allowed. On my first ride with the light attached, it somehow got shaken loose and fell off at some point in this short, just under 10 mile commute.

Buy A Real Taillight if you ride on roads     On: 2007-08-26

I was hit by a car using this taillight. If you are serious about safety then buy a real taillight and spend the extra money. I still have the light on my bike and use it in conjunction with another light but live in fear every time a car passes me now. Look at Dinotte taillights if you are on the roads early. They have videos on youtube that will show you how bright they are. I am saving money for one of their systems. The topeak tailight will cost you about $6.00 to replace batteries also since it uses a cr2032 like remotes for cars. I have also read many good reviews on the cateye 1000 taillight. Safety is the key when you are riding at night. This light might be good for trail riding.

Update to review. This light failed me this morning in wet conditions. It was not raining, but water from sprinkler systems on the road came off the rear wheel and hit the light which was attached to topeak bag. When I returned home the light was no longer on and water had entered the casing. Luckily I had a second light going.
Not so bright     On: 2007-07-02

Im changing my review after two months of use. Yesterday the unit broke off my topeak trunk rack when loading it in my car trunk. I will not replace it with the same light. Before it broke it looked like the clip mount was also breaking anyways. It just was not bright enough. There is another light I have which is much stronger called the planet bike superflash, which I will buy a second one and have two mounted.
Nifty and bright     On: 2007-07-02

I have a Topeak trunk rack and I bought this because you can mount it directly on the Topeak rack. But you can also clip it behind a Topeak bag, attach it to the seat post, or your forks. Or, you could come up with your own solution. You can see the lights when you stand to the side of the bike, as well as behind it. Those flashing LED lights are strong and you can see them from far away. For some reason my unit came with no instructions though. This unit is not that big, but it does the job well. If you order it in the mail, you will probably say, "Gee this is kinda small". But turn it on at night and stand a block away to view it and you will be impressed.

Accidently left on     On: 2007-06-25

In my town anything that isnt bolted down to your bike will get stolen (and on occasion someone will cut through double locks and steal your whole bike, but that is another story). This light is good for what it does, but since I carry it in my bag it turns on very easily and then of course runs out of batteries. That is my only real complaint though - I do appreciate that it goes on and off the bike so easily.
Great little bike light     On: 2007-06-09

This light was a replacement for a previous bike taillight that died. I was concerned at first about its size, but it is very visible - the LEDs are powerful, and it can be angled to the best visibility. It comes with various ways to attach it to the bike or a pack, and I found the pieces versatile enough to come up with my own solution. A great buy for the money.

Small but powerful. This light will let cars see that you are ahead of them. The LEDs will help you safely ride at night.
Compact and Smart     On: 2007-04-04

Pros: This product is compact and smart.
Cons: The only flaw is that it takes the watch battery which I dont know how long will run and how hard will it be to replace. The company promises a good life out of the battery .... lets see.

Almost Perfect     On: 2007-03-09

I finally found a taillight that is almost perfect. Small, bright and uncomplicated. Only three functions: on, blink, off. Fits conveniently on the back of my saddle bag. Highly visible. If I could change only one thing about it, it would be to have it use a more "standard" battery (AAA, or AA), as opposed to a watch-style battery, so that I could utilize rechargeable batteries instead of adding used batteries to the trash collection.
