![]() Topeak DeFender RX Fender By: Topeak Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 2 More Information Make sure you have the right rack Make sure you have the correct (RX) Topeak rack for this to go on. I have an explorer rack, wasnt paying attention, and bought this. Obviously it doesnt fit on the rack. However, you can screw it into most of the standard size threaded holes on your mountain bike. I attached it to the U at the top of my seat stays and it actually does a commendable job at keeping extra muck off of me. I was surprised at how small it is... it ranges from 1.25 inches wide to 1.75 inches wide and is about 6 inches long. Small if you are riding 2" wide mountain bike tires, but it does still help some. For $6, not a bad deal. Every bike should have one If youve ever ridden a bike in the rain or in the mud you know why fenders are necessary. Before I attached this fender to my bike my backside would be drenched in even the lightest drizzle. Now I can ride through the largest puddle and barely feel a drop. Im very happy |
