Exactly what I needed for my bikes when mounted on the Yakima bike racks. Long enough to wrap around bikes and bike rack. I would also recommend adding other locks to it if you have expensive bike. I used this as a secondary lock.

Does the job

I use these for locking together all of my bicycles in my garage, as suggested by the police so that if someone does break in they are much harder to steal. This cable does not mar the finishes on the bicycles and is the perfect length! Amazons price was good, and I got it quickly through Prime!
