this is not a bike lock, it is a seat leash...read below     On: 2008-04-13

These other two reviewers could not be more wrong. One end of the cable is meant to go underneath the saddle and then passed through the loop on the other side of the cable. This creates a noose around your seat. Then, you take the loop on the long end and secure it on a U lock. For those of us that live in a city and have nice seats this a great device for making sure nobody steals your $50 saddle. This is not a bike lock. On the packaging it reads, "...prevents theft of quick-release seats".
Very short lock     On: 2007-01-04

This lock is way too short for any use with a bike. Also it is so thin that it could easily be snipped with some box cutters. Only use I could see for it is maybe locking the seat onto the frame.
Nothing fantastic     On: 2006-11-10

This cable is too short to be of much use. The cable is thin and could be cut easily. If you are looking for a light cable that is to serve as a fast and easy deterrent than this is perfect but it will certainly not prevent your bike from being stolen.
