Recomend with Reservations I bought this seat for my Schwinn Clear Creek comfort bike, after trying several different styles of seat. My only complaint is if you have Hemorrhoids this seat is Not for you. However my wife loves it on her Cruiser. On the right bike - very confortable I have about 75 miles on this saddle now, having tried in on two different bikes. The two bikes gave me different experiences. This seat is great of your bike is a little too large for you. It doesnt work too well if the bike is a little too small for you. The most comfortable position is to be almost leaning against the saddle vs. sitting atop it. So if the bike is big enough to allow you to scootch forward on the saddle and still extend your legs, you will probably like the saddle. But if you have to sit up on the saddle, it might be a little annoying to you. The pads tended to rub my thighs when I sat atop the saddle, plus they move up/down slightly when peddling, a sensation that I dont care for. Other positives - the rails are very long allowing lots of seat positions. Seems to be pretty well made. Negatives - If you like the seat adjusted to be very wide, the seat will probably squeek if you weigh more than 150 lbs. The squeak goes away when the pads a postioned close to each other. Bottom line: at about $50 it is a fairly expensive experiement. I was lucky -it didnt work well for the original bike I tried it on, but it works very well on my large cruiser bike. |
