I purchased this item from Performance Bicycle, and paid for expedited shipping. It never showed up, and after two weeks they claim that they cannot locate my order, which is odd because they had no problem taking my money. This *might* be a great helmet, but the seller is unreliable and totally disorganized.

This helmet is lighter, more comfortable, cooler (both in temperature and in styling), than I thought possible. I can see very very well out of this helmet (though I removed the visor), my face is protected from the sun (I wear glacier-type sunglasses with it), and its aero-dynamic characteristics are excellent! Most importantly, it provides a wonderfully assuring sense of safety. The wind noise at 20-23mph is also much less than I experienced with my standard bicycling helmet.
More info: I ride my road bicycle 11 miles each way to work. Temps recently have been in the low 90s on my way home. And, perhaps because I ride fast, mostly between 17 and 23mph, there must be more than adequate ventilation, because, much to my surprise, my head doesnt feel hot. Sure, I notice that my hair is wet when I take the helmet off. But, I sweat after 40 minutes of strenuous biking, even with the bike in its stand in my 68 degree basement. So I was very nicely surprised by how cool my head stays when I wear this helmet. In fact, on the hottest day Ive biked so far, 93 degrees, people asked me, "Wasnt it hot riding today?" And I replied, "It wasnt bad... it must be the fact that Im moving... because the heat just wasnt a factor."
That said, Im not sure that Id be comfortable wearing this helmet for more than an hour-long ride. But for my 30 to 45 minute high-speed rides, it hasnt been too heavy. (Im a fairly muscular guy that weighs about 180lbs.) If youre female or a lighter-weight male, this helmet might be uncomfortably heavy for road biking. But its still surprisingly light. For me, its PERFECT for my commute. I like it so much I was planning on buying another one in green to match my mountain bike. But, alas, they dont MAKE a green one!

I wear this bucket for off and on-roading. Lightweight and comfy. If you are going to wear a helmet why not save your face as well? Would definitly buy again.
