![]() Bell Powersports The Warden Disc Motorcycle Lock System By: Bell Average Rating: 2.5 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Rubbish Product This product only lasted two weeks, the 4th time I used it the lock sprung out of the body and the parts fell on the ground. An utter waste of money, very disappointing as I have bought other Bell products before, but this certainly will be the last. If you are making a product...... make it good, dont make crap! If it were possible to give zero stars I would !!!!!!!!!!! O.K. Lock. Just remember to take it off! I purchased this lock at the local retailer. I used it faithfully wherever I went. I had a little problem getting the key out when I used it but no big deal, just jiggled it a bit. I put it on my bike for about 30 minutes. Came out from inside, put my gear on and was ready to ride. Started to go and with an abrupt stop. It did its job. I felt like an idiot, because I ALWAYS remembered to take it off. Not this time. I then went to remove it and the key would not turn. The pin in the middle was bend! (I didnt take off that quick), I then had to go get a hacksaw and saw through the exposed area of it to get it off. It did its job BUT it should NOT have BENT so easily! Then finding out it wasnt hard to saw through... . Next one I will get will have an alarm on it and be more sturdy. Great lock for those short stays in questionable arears. Didnt know if I would like this or not, but was a good deal over Amazon. I saw it else where for more, so Amazon had the better deal. I had to first start using it in over night locations with my "baby". The red leash and the lock on the disk brake are a definite deterent for someone thinking about moving it. Weights a lot, so it would be funny. I thought the disk lock part might damage the disk brake, but it fit on well and it looked like it would work. I would give it a thumbs up for now. |
