Works fairly well     On: 2008-06-23

My 7 year old loves riding the Co-pilot. The only issues that Ive had are with the connections to the main bike. The seat post isnt secure enough with the quick release and when you take a turn it was also turning the main bikes seat. Even after tightening the quick release it still moves a small amount. I wish that the connection was smaller and attached to the frame and not to the seat post.
Great convienence!     On: 2008-06-18

I had looked at several different options before deciding on the Wee-Ride Co-Pilot. Some of the other reviews created some doubt, but in the end the other reviews were very helpful in understanding the workings of this bike. My 5 year old daughter loves it. I am FINALLY able to get the excercise that I have been missing since she couldnt keep up on the longer rides. Plus with the cost of gas it is very nice for the whole family to be able to ride to the library, grocery, parks, etc. The Wee-Ride is a great value and is well constructed. I am very excited to be using this on a daily basis!
NO Customer Service     On: 2008-06-13

Product arrived missing parts (making it unusable) and after 3 calls and faxing over proof of purchase over many weeks the company has yet to send the missing parts, despite being told each time they are sending them. Just keep getting the runaround. So far I have a piece of metal, plastic, and rubber that can only gather dust.
FAMILY FUN!!!     On: 2008-06-05

We LOVE our co-pilot! We waited until our little girl was 4 years old (got it for her 4th birthday) to get this for her since on our family bike rides wed have to wait for her. She had a little trouble at first getting her little legs to the bottom of the petals with the seat in the lowest position (and shes TALL). So when shed petal youd feel it in the front leaning to each side. As shes gotten a bit taller, it is a bit better. That just might be the nature of the product though. I read the other reviews about the back falling over, well yeah, its on a pivoting hinge so it can turn with the adult bike but it also twists. FUN for the family! We wouldnt trade ours for anything!
Great for kids     On: 2008-06-04

Easy to put together. My daughter loves riding behind and feeling like a "big" girl on her wee.

It will be a fun and hassle free summer.
Faulty design     On: 2008-06-04

Before I bought this item, I read all the reviews. I found all good reviews except one.
I ignored the bad one with the wishful thinking that the customer got a bad piece.
I faced exactly the same problem that the customer mentioned. I checked
the design carefully, I found that there is nothing wrong with the piece. It is a
fundamental design problem. There are two clamps, one attach to the primary bike seat rod,
and another on the rod that attach to the first. Both clamps can not be tightened
firmly to prevent it from rotation. Due to the possibility of simultaneous rotations of these
clamps, the trailer can incline to a large extent. With a child riding on the trailer,
it can trip over easily. This problem may not show up in first one or two rides. But with
a few more rides, the friction in the clamps goes away, and they start rotating more
freely. In my opinion, this trailer should be recalled, as it is too dangerous to be on the road.

Great bike!     On: 2008-05-27

This bike is great! My daughter loves it, and it gives me peace of mind knowing that she is safer being behind my husband, rather than driving all over the road on her own! The only drawback for us is that I cant pull her behind my bike because the attachment goes under the bicycle seat, and I have to raise the seat so much that I cannot touch the ground with it up that high. Doesnt feel safe for me to have to fall over to get off and drag her down with me, lol. Other than that...we love it!
Bike Trailer     On: 2008-05-27

I received this trailer very quick and was partially assembled. It was a great price and my daughter now can ride along with me and thinks shes a big kid. I looked around quite a bit on the internet and Im glad I came across this bike trailer. We can take this to the campground and people think this setup is really cool.
Great Bike for the Price.     On: 2008-05-21

First off, we have 26" (wheels) Beach Cruisers and the bike fits perfectly.

We purchased this bike so our 3 1/2 year old could accompany us on rides when the enclosed trailers got less practical. In short; he loves it. For the first 5 minutes he kept asking me to slow down, but now I hear nothing but "Faster, Daddy! Faster!".

Assembly was quick and fairly straight-forward, you will need to attach the handle-bars, seat and flag. The seat-post receiver has 4 bolts that attach quite snugly (make sure that you screw them in equally to get the proper contact from the plates to the post).

The bike itself plugs in quickly and securely with a thumb-release pressure bolt that must be removed completely to attach/remove it from the post secured unit. In addition to regular maintenance needed for any bike, the area I suggest you keep an eye on is the vertical bolt securing the L/R pivoting joint; it seems to have come loose on the first one we bought and we lost the whole end-piece while it was on the bike rack.

The bike pulls quite smoothly and I do not feel much drag when he is not pedaling. The first few times the passenger decides to shift his/her weight around on the bike can give you some side-to-side pressure which requires a bit of getting used to, but this is true of any bike trailer I would think.

The little splash-guard on the frame of the bike is nice when you hit a little puddle or kick up some debris.

It fits nicely on a bike rack with the arm extended (as in the picture) and folds up nicely for storage.

The bike is of a better quality than the price would suggest, and would recommend it to anyone.
Get a professional     On: 2008-05-14

Get a professional to install this and you will love it. My daughter has been reluctant to learn to ride a bike. She is 9 and they just dont make training wheels for bikes her size! LOL So we attached this one and it was great! I kept her balanced while she got over any fears and learned to lean with the turns and not wobble while we rode.

The reason that I recommend getting a professional to install it is that if the bracket is not perfectly strait and REALLY tight the co-pilot falls over. This happened, and dumped her right into a mud puddle!

The professional replaced the bolt that locks the bracket with a quick release bolt that tightens really well and makes it easier to store. He was also able to align them up strait so there was less problems.

After just 3 months of riding the one mile to school every day (and back) she now rides her own bike with the same level of skill as the other children her age!
Some FUN!     On: 2008-05-04

The WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Trainer is great! Easy to assemble (the package was REALLY beat up when it arrived, but fortunately, the company sent us a replacement rear reflector - the only damaged part), and very sturdy. It takes a bit of getting used to the slight wobbling at the connection site as you ride and your child shifts weight side to side, but its obvious that its NOT going to come apart. Be sure to warn your little rider to HOLD ON TIGHTLY when you are approaching bumps! We have only been able to take the Bike Trainer out once due to bad weather so far this spring, but we will be loading it onto the bike carrier and toting it to the park with us many times this summer, for sure! My daughter says it is helping her get used to going faster, building her confidence for when she practices on her own bike.
happy father     On: 2008-04-05

now, we can enjoy every ride with our son, without any risk for him and at the sam speed as we. Co-pilot Bike is very easy to carry and connect to my bike; maybe the seat is not the best for long rides, bu you easily can change it for the one you prefer.
Love this!     On: 2008-01-08

Our five year old is pretty slim. He was struggling to get his bike going and really hated the wobble of the training wheels. He wasnt biking much and we could tell he was scared of falling over, even though it was unlikely. Anyway, we wanted him to feel how to balance and to enjoy biking more. So we got the WeeRide. Weve done a few family bike rides and wow! Were all having fun and getting places. Our son loves it. No stigma attached - hes helping pedal. It turns nicely and seems safe. Id love to get another attachment piece so we could switch from my bike to my husbands without tools. Other than that, were very happy with this purchase.
Great fun     On: 2008-01-08

This is a great product have not had any problems at all. Have only gotten to use it a couple of times, but my 5 yr old daughter loves it. I like it for the fact that we can take longer rides, plus riding this will help her learn balance etc so she can ride her own two wheel bike in the spring. Great fun for the price.
WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Trailer - safe and fun way to bike with your child     On: 2007-09-12

WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Trailer was shipped in a well packed heavy duty carton. Instructions were simple to follow and it literally took 10-15 minutes to assemble.
Construction: its a solid bike (well, half a bike); the manufacturer didnt skimp on quality of materials used. The only thing Id improve on is the bracket assembly that attaches to adult bikes seat post. Namely, Id make the plate that accepts 4 machine bolts out of stainless steel rather than aluminum. Id also make the coupling pin to accept a colter (or spring) pin for extra safety.
Performance: Both bikes handled very predictably both in bike lanes and off-road. Almost no impact on stopping distance. The only two things to watch out for are: 1. dont let your child lean sideways, which causes noticeable balancing issues for the adult bike; and 2. make slow(er) and wide(r) turns with your child riding behind you.
Comfort and fun factors: My daughter (shes almost 7) loved the first ride (weve biked almost 40 miles since our first ride) and reported that it was very comfortable - both to ride and to pedal.
With my daughter riding behind me and providing "free" power boosts every now and then we can easily cover 5 to 7 miles in about 30 minutes. I also very much like the easy of disconnecting the WeeRide from my adult bike.
Bottom line: fun for my daughter and myself to use, a great way to get your kids outside and exercise, and most importantly safe product. And kudos to Amazon for smooth (as always) transaction and fast shipping.

Very fun product     On: 2007-09-09

We bought this product so that our 3 year old could go along on bike rides. It was easy to set up and we just put those little blocks on the pedals so he could reach better. After a few rides he was pedalling and riding with confidence. Make sure that you are a fairly strong bike rider when pulling one of these because a young rider shifting around in back can really throw you off balance, but I have never crashed. It produces very little drag on the lead rider on flat roads. I only have one problem with the product: when making sharp turns (ie: turning the bike around in the driveway), the connecting joint allows the bike trailer to fall over completely. This has happened several times with no injuries and you would never turn this tight at a high speed, so it is just something to be careful about and another reason to wear a quality helmet. Overall, it is solidly constructed, easy to set up, and we love taking family bike rides with it.
gets us to school     On: 2007-09-08

No complaints about this well-priced solid co-rider. My six year old doesnt mind the 2 mile ride to school and mom gets some exercise! Seems just as solid as friends high priced model.

We returned ours, I have _serious_ safety concerns!     On: 2007-08-18

Our experience with the WeeRide co-pilot was very disappointing. Our son was dumped off the bike once, and we found that a critical bolt almost came completely loose which could have caused serious injury during a ride. This review is long but before you buy this product I suggest you read the details of our experience! Note: our four-year old _loves_ riding on a trailer-bike, so I agree with all of the other reviews that trailer-bikes are a great, great thing for 4-5 year-olds. However, if our experience is representative Id stay away from the co-pilot!

We bought a WeeRide co-pilot trailer-bike because REI recalled the one they make, called the Novara Afterburner, which we were very happy with. We ride our bikes a lot and although REI said they would send a fix for the Afterburner in a month or two, we couldnt wait that long. I only have experience with these two trailer bikes but will offer a comparison of the two.

Assembling the co-pilot once it arrived wasnt too bad. I liked the REI trailer-bike because we could try it out before we bought it, and then it came already assembled -- but certainly ordering the co-pilot online has its conveniences too. The first disappointment was that the co-pilot has a piece that has to be semi-permanently attached to the parents bike. The REI trailer-bike has a quick-release mechanism that makes it easy to move the trailer-bike from one bike to another. Moving the co-pilot takes 5-10 minutes and an allen wrench.

On the second time we used the co-pilot, our four-year old was dumped off the bike. My wife was walking her bike while our son rode the trailer-bike, and she made a somewhat tight turn to get the bike turned around. The trailer-bike leans a little bit when you make a tight turn (same was true for the REI trailer-bike) and our son is pretty used to it. Except with the co-pilot, the lean of the trailer-bike and the weight of our son caused the mounting piece attached to my wifes seat post to suddenly pivot around, increasing the amount of lean in the trailer-bike to about a 45-degree angle. Our son wasnt prepared for this and fell over sideways. Fortunately he was only shaken up a little bit, and he had enough positive experience with our REI trailer-bike that he was willing to get back on. However, we have some friends that had a similar experience and their daughter refused to ride it again (I dont know if it was a co-pilot or some other brand).

When we got home, I checked the tightness of the bolts that attach the mounting piece to my wifes bike, and it was pretty tight. Nonetheless I could fairly easily yank the mounting piece side to side. I then proceeded to tighten the bolts to the point that I was stripping them, and still I could move the mounting piece side to side. Finally I had to insert some pieces of rubber around the seat post and then re-tighten the bolts to the point of stripping them before I felt comfortable that the sudden pivoting problem wouldnt happen again. The problem is that the mounting piece doesnt have sufficient contact surface area with the seat post. In comparison, the REI trailer-bike attaches _extremely_ tightly to the seatpost and there is absolutely no play, whereas the co-pilot still had some small amount of side-to-side play even when tightened to the maximum.

On our third ride with the co-pilot, one of the bolts in the bracket for holding the flag wiggled loose and the flag fell off somewhere. That was annoying, but at least there were no potential for injuries that time.

Our fourth ride with the co-pilot was the longest yet (about 10 miles). Halfway into the ride I noticed that one of the bolts on the arm that attaches the trailer-bike to the parents bike was loose. I didnt have the right tool to fix it, so we just watched it carefully while we rode home. When we got home, I checked just how loose it was, and it was only about 1.5 turns away before the threads disengaged. The bolt still would have had to then shake out so I cannot say how long that might have taken. However, this is a _serious_ safety issue! The bolt is at the point in the arm (close to the parents bike) that allows the arm to pivot up and down (e.g. when the trailer-bike goes over a speed bump the angle of the arm needs to change). If we had been riding along at full speed and that bolt had shaken loose, the arm of the trailer-bike would do a nose-dive into the pavement and our son would probably get thrown head-first off the trailer-bike.

We immediately stopped using the co-pilot, and shipped it back. I would caution anyone who buys one to be very careful and inspect yours repeatedly. We are much happier with our REI (Novara Afterburner) trailer-bike -- although the recall has been a drag at least I am reassured that REI is taking safety seriously. Much more seriously than WeeRide seems to be!
We love these bikes!     On: 2007-08-18

We bought two of these prior to a cross-country camping trip so we could ride with our 5 and 7 year olds in unfamiliar territory. They worked very well! Our only complaint is that they are difficult to store. They do fold to some extent, but they are still cumbersome and do not stand up when not hooked to an adult bike (except upside down on the seat and handle bars).

Great for beginning riders!     On: 2007-08-16

My husband and I took our soon-to-be 4-year-old daughter on a trail ride today with our new Co-Pilot. She LOVED it! Shes old enough to want to participate in the ride rather than be closed up in the bike trailer, but not old enough to really pedal on her own and keep up with us adults. This was perfect! The first time out, she kept her balance and was helping to pedal a bit.

Many of the reviews mentioned that this is a bit tall for young kids. It just barely fit her legs to reach the pedals, with the seat at its lowest point, and shes tall for her age of 4.
Co-pilot well made     On: 2007-08-16

We purchased the wee ride for our 5 year old daughter. We found it to be well made for the money, stylish enough for her and we liked the adjustments you can make to both the seat and the handlebars. I attached it to my racer schwinn and it fit, but we find the ride a bit more worbbly than another style we tested. Also, when it arrived, there were three problems with it. The pivot joint was so tight, we had to loosen it both ways as someone else indicated also. IF you dont, there is the hazard of tipping when you turn. As she was riding with me, it suddenly made a large clacking noise and then her pedals froze up. After inspection, we had to make two adjustments to the gear wheel and also the pedal joints. It works fine now. Customer service was of no help and also never returned my call. All in all, its good for the money and hopefully, ours was one of few assembled poorly. We are keeping it.
great product, great price!     On: 2007-08-12

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the excellent build quality of this "trailer bike." I was very skeptical about the quality, given the unbelievable price (compare to Trek etc.), but decided to give it a shot anyway.

Setup was pretty easy. The only problem was that the seatpost wouldnt go all the way into the frame, which was a must in order for my 4.5 yr old to ride. I needed to jam a scrap metal pipe into the frames seat tube a couple times in order to knock loose some chunks of metal flashing that were preventing the seatpost from going all the way in. Once that was done though, everything was great. As for attaching to the lead bike, there is a "hitch receiver" that bolts onto the seatpost of the lead bike. The lead bike needs 2 inches of exposed seatpost in order to attach the hitch receiver. The WeeRide attaches to the hitch receiver exactly as would an automobile trailer hitch, except that the WeeRide comes with a quick release bolt for easy attachment/detachment to/from the lead bike. The hinge for folding the WeeRide is also secured by a quick release bolt. Those two quick releases are all you need to mess with when you want to go for a ride. Very simple!

The bike is *almost* too big for my 4.5 yr old daughter to ride. She was freaked out at first because, even with the seat all the way down, she cant touch the ground with her feet. And the hinged coupling between the seatpost "hitch" and the WeeRide frame has a little play in it, so it felt a bit wobbly to my daughter at first. But once she got used to the idea that shes firmly attached to Dads bike, and Dads bike doesnt tip over :) , she started to enjoy herself. More about fit: the crankarms on the WeeRide are pretty long, so I expect my kids to be able to enjoy it for as long as we want to. It will take a *very* long time for the kids to physically outgrow this bike.

A few thoughts about safety. First of all, the WeeRide does not have any braking capability. The copilots choices are to pedal or to freewheel. This is good, since it ensures that the copilot cant lock up the back wheel. It seems like that might potentially cause problems (think jackknifed 18-wheelers). Second, the "pilot," or lead bicyclist, needs to avoid bumps as much as possible, and if not possible, the pilot needs to warn the copilot, just as on a tandem bike. The copilot can *not* see straight ahead when riding! Third, the pilot must avoid any sudden movements if possible. Dont stop too hard, accelerate too suddenly, or turn too quickly! Its very easy for the copilot to space out and relax a bit too much, since they dont have to do any work! Warn in advance before turning etc. if possible.

All that said, my 4.5 yr old daughter LOVES being a copilot! This half-bike allows my wife, my 7 year old son, my daughter and I to all go on rides together and explore a lot more than we could when my daughter was riding her little 16" bike with training wheels. Much more enjoyable for all this way!
A nice bike     On: 2007-07-25

Ive been a competitive bike racer for the last 10 years (road races and criteriums) and I was looking for a way to include my 4.5 year old daughter in some of my rest day rides. This weeride is easy to set up and is remarkably stable when pulled.

First I had it connected to my townie single speed but since it only weighs 15lbs it was pretty unsteady as the weeride outweighed it by a large margin. Then I hooked it up to my Trek Fuel full suspension mtn bike and the ride is much better and more stable. Ive got slick tires on it right now and it rolls easily.

My daughter loves riding behind me around the neighborhood and its a great way for me to do an easy spin for an hour or so as a rest day from heavy training. Her ride is safe and stable and we both love it. Highly recommended. I did put a mirror on my bars to keep an eye on her and for traffic. Btw shes smallish for a 4yo and Ive got the seat all the way down and it fits her fine.

Great buy!     On: 2007-07-13

This has been a great way for the family to bike together. It is easy to assemble--just be sure it is very tightly attached or the co-pilot can swivel sideways while turning. It is sturdy and well-crafted. I see no need to pay hundreds of dollars for other brands. The only complaint I have is that I cannot lower the seat any further to allow my almost 4 year old to reach the pedals and pedal along. (He is small for his age.) If you are looking for an attachment for your young child, I would highly recommend this particular brand.

We are pleased with the bikes and the kids love them. We are able to now go on family bike rides with our [...] and keep everyone going at the same speed. We have used them on rides up to 20 miles.

Poor Quality     On: 2007-07-09

We purchased this item because of the bargain price and we got what we paid for. The bike trailer did not trail straight behind our bike and we adjusted it many times. The hook up wasnt the best either. We returned the item (with ease) and went with a Trek tag-a-long. The Trek is definately worth the extra money for it is a much better quality bike. The bike trailer is used by our 4 and 6 year old kids.
High Quality and totally fun WeeRide trailer!     On: 2007-06-09

The WeeRide Co-Pilot is a very clever item. It has high build-quality, welded construction and is packaged flawlessly, so nothing gets damaged. All the pieces fit and it is very simple to put together. You just need an adjustable crescent wrench, a Phillips Head screwdriver, a small socket set and a 6mm metric Hex/Allen head wrench or socket insert (It does not come with one (6mm metric Hex), which was the only disappointment). There are a lot of Hex head screws so YOU HAVE TO HAVE THAT tool. Once it is all together and attached to the main bike, its very stable. My Daughters first words when we took off were worth every penny we spent on this item; "Daddy this is awesome! What a blast!" We rode for at least an hour with no mishaps. We highly recommend this WeeRide Co-Pilot!
Great!     On: 2007-05-17

I purchased this item for my 4.5 year old daughter. We all enjoy bike riding, but my daughter was scared riding in the street (she does great on paved trails). I wanted to spend the summer riding as a family to the library, pool, etc so I bought the co-pilot for my daughter. She LOVES it.

It is easy to attach and take apart, the seat and handle adjust to her height, and the attachment bar folds so it is east to store. She rides along and waves and chats with people she sees out on the street and every evening asks to go for a bike ride.

When she pedals I can tell, but it is really not that much help. I only notice it if I am trying to slow down and she is pedaling. I thought it would be awkward for me to balance but no problems so far.

The only thing I am cautious about is taking a turns, you need to take them fairly wide. I took a sharp turn when my older son was riding behind me and the co-pilot tipped over.

All in all I am glad I bought it and we have been enjoying our bike rides.

The only thing I am cautious about is taking a turns, you need to take them fairly wide. I took a sharp turn when my older son was riding behind me and the co-pilot tipped over.

All in all I am glad I bought it and we have been enjoying our bike rides.
Great Idea     On: 2007-05-16

I have a 3 1/2 year old. My husband and I wanted to go on bike rides but we didnt really have a good way to take our son. He is too big for the seat on the back of the bike and he isnt skilled enough nor does he have enough stamina to ride his own bike for a distance. We didnt want to get a pull behind cart because after all bike riding is all about excercising and we wanted our son to be a part of that. We purchased the co-pilot and love it. Our son can pedal when he wants and if he gets tired he can just ride. You have to get used to balancing the bike with the co-pilot because when my son leans it threw me off balance a little in the beginning. It didnt take me long to adapt to it though. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.
Works for us!!     On: 2007-05-12

We bought this product so that we could ride on trails and streets with our 6yr without the obvious worries that one would have with her on her own bike. also, our daughter was still using training wheels so we hoped this might give her a better sense of balance for her own bike.
The Co Pilot was fairly easy to install. The only glitch we had (and it was a big one) was that we never saw where in the instructions to tighten the handlebars. It tells you to wait until the end of the installation but never reminds you again. Consequently, she got thrown off the bike on the first turn of the trial run because of the loose handlebars. Once this was fixed, the bike worked great. My daughter asks all the time to ride and we all really enjoy it. We added an aftermarket kickstand so the bike was more secure when parked. We have been VERY pleased with it!
Fun fun fun for my 5.5 year old     On: 2007-05-12

We have been using this for a couple weeks now, and my son loves it! Plus, he gets to share the load and pedal (which tires him out really easy if I dont pedal). It attaches pretty easy, although I had to torque the bike attachment down pretty good so it didnt rotate and cause the copilot to become unstable. After a couple minutes getting used to the copilot, we had a fun time.
This is absolutely great!     On: 2007-05-01

I received this item in less than a week and my six-year-old and I have been enjoying every day since. We even went on a 10 mile trek this weekend and loved every minute. I feel like shes safely attached to me versus being on her own bike. I highly recommend the Wee-Ride Co-Pilot. Great product, great price, fast shipping and its allowing my child and I to have quality time amid nature. Id call that a win-win-win-plus!
Excellent, but not good for age under 5     On: 2007-04-22

It is a very good bike and easy to ride. My daughter loves it, we enjoy it together. The seat is a little bit too high for 6-year legs, she can barely touch the ground when it stops.

We love our bike trailer     On: 2007-04-11

I bought this bike trailer because my son had outgrown the child seat that I had on my bike for the past 2 years. This co-pilot bike trailer is perfect. He feels like a big boy because hes riding his own bike and I feel confident because hes attached to my bike and he cant drive out into traffic. He asks to go riding every day and we love the bike trailer. Also, after much searching, I found that the WeeRide Co-Pilot Bike Trailer was the most affordable.

WeeRide Trailer Bike a Hit!     On: 2007-04-04

Excellent quality construction and components - something I was worried about sight unseen. Extremely stout fittings, couplings and quick disconnects. My 4.5 year old and I are having a blast! I feel much safer with him behind me rather than him beside me peddling like mad to keep up and in the path of oncoming bikers. Setup was smooth except for one small but critical detail. The swing bar mechanism that pivots up/down and side-to-side was a bit over-tightened and it would not pivot at all. The 6mm allen bolts would not come loose with a standard allen wrench, but fortunately I had a 6mm allen socket mount for my ratcheting wrench or I never would have been able to loosen it without breaking the standard, flimsy allen wrench. Other than that, it is excellent quality and performs extremely well, and I recommend it highly.

Not great for a 4 year old, but good

My 4 year old daughter fell when the lead bike turned, she isnt an avid bike rider, so shes now a little scared of it. But is very stable when assembled properly - only took about 10 minutes to attach to my bike. Id recommend it. Its great when we want to go on a long bike ride with my 6 year old and my daughter cant keep up.

works great for my fou-year-old on my mountain bike. Didnt fit my road bike as well. She loves it, though, and its very stable behind me. She can pedal to help, or she can coast and enjoy the ride. Its a little heavy & my husband is better at getting it on & off my bike than I am, but altogether, it was a great quality for the price & Id recommend it.
