Perfect size for 5-year old

My son just got this as a Christmas gift, we do a lot of bike rides, hikes, etc. and carrying water is always an issue. So, everybody got a Camelbak as a gift! My son put this on and was drinking from it on Christmas day until it got too heavy! for him. I have not closely inspected this yet, but the only thing that seems to be missing is a little pocket for kid stuff. Some of the larger adult versions have pockets, and I think that kids universally love pockets for their stuff. Otherwise, this is going to be great once its biking weather!

Excellent idea for kid, esp. weekends, but could use snack pouch

This was the best $5 yard sale purchase for 4/5 yr old last year. We immediately took it for a month to Australia. He never complained about wanting to buy overpriced drinks at inconvenient times (common previously). He wore it happily everywhere - especially after we told him it was a "jet" pack that could help him move faster. GREAT PRODUCT. wish it has a side pocket for snack crackers and such or jacket strap. One year later, still perfect.

Kid love them!

We got these for our two kids, ages 2 and 7, and they love them. It took a minute for my two year old to understand how to use the nozzle, but he got it. We have only used them hiking, but they will also be great for traveling and for summers carnivals (We live where it is 105 degrees in summer). We are very happy we got them!

I ordered this for our 7 year old daughter for a snow skiing trip and absolutely loved it, and it worked out perfectly!! I am thinking of ordering one for myself.

GREAT, even for preschoolers!

My 2 and 4 year olds both love these Skeeters! I think they are perfect the way they are and have no complaints. I was pleased that they work well for younger kids even though they are recommended for 5 and older. I just fill them up a little less so they arent so heavy, and keep the straps snug.
