![]() InStep Quick N EZ Bike Trailer (Gold/Gray/Black) By: InStep Average Rating: 4.5 Total Reviews: 89 More Information great product This is my second trailer. I paid twice as much for the first one and I like this one much better. It is very versitile. Being able to use it as a stroller and a trailer is great. Excellent value I was concerned about quality with the price so low but this is very well built and works as advertised. Highly recommend. Easy rider Works great. Easy attach/detach. Problems- little plastic piece inside connectors falls out, seat belt harnesses are a joke and difficult to work for weak fingers. Plenty of space for a lunch in the back. Great trailer ,easy to assembly, works great. My 3 and 4 year old daughters love riding in the Quick N EZ Bike Trailer and it also works great as a stroller. A point I haven't seen made by others This is a generally good trailer. It works well, give my kid a smooth ride, and breaks down/sets up pretty easily. Two complaints. 1) The buckles are a pain in the butt. They are pretty difficult to put on and take off. 2) if you dont put the plastic cover over the front of the trailer, your kid will get dirt kick in his face from your bike tire. Now, of cours,e this would happen with any trailer, but the side windows are plastic only, so essentially, theres not much ventilation in this thing with the front plastic in place. Thats really my only two gripes with the thing. Almost Perfect So far this has been a great purchase and certainly a great value for the price. My only complaint is that the seat that the kids sit on doesnt have enough room. Its as if they didnt make enough fabric and my kids slip off easily. Weve only used it as a stroller so far and it is the easiest stroller we have ever pushed. Even with 2 kids in it ages 4 and 3. Anyway, I would still recommend this product. Great carrier for the price!!! Great kid trailer. Works very well. All these trailers are terrible with two children (kids smash together). But this was easily remedied by cutting a piece of plywood and attaching it under the frame. This provided a seat for the kids and made riding much more enjoyable. Dont buy those expensive designer trailers, they dont come with real seats either. Save your money and buy this trailer instead. Perfect This bike trailer is perfect for our family. I really debated going with a bike seat and basket in the front and am so glad that I went with this. My son is protected from the direct sunlight and theres tons of room for groceries, books, purses, etc. in the back of the trailer. Also...it fits on most sidewalks which was something I was worried about. Great Trailer Recently got this bike trailer, easy assembly. It works great. My 8 month old and 3 year old girls fit in together with no problem. There is not a lot of support, so when my 8 month old rides alone, I prop a boppy pillow around her and a pillow under her feet to keep her upright. She immediatley falls asleep whenever she rides in it. Works great as a stroller too! Very easy to maneuver and folds compactly. Kind of hard for the little ones to wear helmets as the back of the helmet hits the material in back making it uncomfortable. Great for casual bikers. Would highly recommend it for the price. Bike Trailer Great product. We have loved it so much. We love that it is a jogging stroller and a bike trailer. A+ Great for the money I bought this to take my kids on bike rides so I cold lose some weight, and we could get out of the house. Pros--EASY to set up. No real drag on bike. Great as a stroller. Turns very easily when in a stroller and I love the handle bar is adjustable for height. Lots of room for stuff in back. Kids love it and youngest falls asleep everytime. Cons--The seat is ridiculous, not enough fabric under their butts and the hammock style blows. The straps are also ridiculous, not only are they hard to maipulate, when you have a kid strapped in them, it is jacked up through their crotch to where they are pressing really hard there. I do not use the straps at all. Not enough leg room for my 3 year old. They do slump together or outwards, but my daughter ususally ends up cuddling my son anyways since he falls asleep. Cannot see kids while strolling. I am disapointed that the seat is the way it is, so I have to build a pillow up underneath to better support them. I do not use the straps because I cant really. I love that it has a rain shield and storage in the back and the cup holders. We put a pillow on the floor where their feet go also because there is a metal bar and if my 1 1/2 year old should fall forward, I do not want him to hit it. But he hasnt yet. Either way, the kids LOVE it, I love that I can take them with me and it attached to my bike very easily. Have not tried to put it in the trunk yet, but I think it will be no problem. Collapses very flat except for the tires, then still flatter than a regular stroller. All in all, I am happy I bought it, get lots of comments on it and for under $100 bucks, it was totally worth the money for what I use it for. quality item This is a great and safe way to get out and about with a young child. It was a great buy for us, quality item, delivered promptly. The makers could have taken extra care in making the straps adjust more snugly for a younger child, but it is sufficient. Great value, super easy to put together. We just bought this today, so I cant testify to how it will hold up over time, but so far, its been VERY easy to put together. There are no tools required and I didnt even have to look at the directions. Its also really easy to convert into stroller mode. Weve taken it out on 2 bike rides so far and Its perfect for riding on the neighborhood streets. Would I buy this for a trek up a mountain trail? Nope....but thats not what its designed for. Its not a Burley and cant be compared to one. If youre looking for an economical way for the whole family to go for an occasional bike ride, then this trailer is perfect for you. Bike Trailer Review We have had the bike trailer for a little over a month. So far, it has not given us any trouble. My daughter loves it and has fallen asleep in it a few times while I am riding. She calls it her bike fort. This was a great purchase. Pleased in PA We purchased the InStep Quick N EZ Bike Trailer for our 16 month old son. We have used it for both long walks and bike rides and our son loves it. It is very easy to put together and also to transfer between bike trailer and stroller and is relatively easy to pull behind a bike! However, we purchased it with hopes that it will fit two children in the future. I really dont see how two children would fit in it comfortably. The price from Amazon was great! It is approximately $30-$40 cheaper than other places. We chose the free shipping with Amazon and received the trailer within two days. It folds flat, so it will be making a trip to the beach with us in a few weeks. In addition to fitting two children, my only other problem with the product is the buckles are difficult hook. Once my son is in, hes in. Getting him out takes a little work! in step works for my dog I bought this "cart" to pull my dog around while I ride my bike...hes getting old and cant keep up with the bike...now he gets to see everything and get some air while I ride and get my exercise. This would be excellent for children as well! Great trailer! I love this bike trailer!! i used it as a jogger for 2 months untill i bought a bike to go with it! it worked great and steered well as the jogger, but now i have it attached to my bike and i dont think i will ever take it off as i now have a double jogger. I cant even feel the trailer when im going down the road! i put my 35lb and 45lb kids in it and the only thing i feel is some resistance when going up a hill!!! i also have my 18lb son on the seat attached to my bike! if i didnt look behind me i would have no idea there were kids attached to my bike! Great for the price! Im not sure what people expect when they purchase a two child bike trailer for under $100, but I am really happy with this product! Assembly was a piece of cake and it is very easy to fold, unfold, adjust and convert. After reading the reviews about how horrible the straps are I was really prepared for disappointment, but I did not think they were that bad at all. I like that they are a bit tough to get on because that means by three year old cant get them off!! The trailer itself is very attractive and it easily attached to the back of my bike. I took the suggestion of placing a small rubber mat on the floor of the trailer to help prevent wear on the fabric and also provide some extra support. I love the extra storage and my son loves going for rides through town. I would recommend this in a heartbeat and it sure beats the price of gas these days! You get what you pay for We bought this trailer for our 8 month old son. He loves going for rides in it. However, the first time we took it out the wheel fell off. It hasnt done it since. I would make sure it is snapped in really well before taking off. It is pretty light and when you are riding with it attached to your bike, you barely know it is there. As a stroller it isnt the best though, the front is too light and it wants to tip backwards as you push it. It was a little tricky to install the first time, but once it is installed it is very easy to attach to your bike. Very happy with it So far we love it. My daughter (shes 2) has so much fun in there, she likes to bring a couple stuffed animals along for the ride. Limo luxury but... It was really easy to put together. When I did I was amazed! There was a foot well, storage in the back, comfortable seats, drink cup holder/pocket, and more! We called it a toddler rickshaw. Everyone that saw it was rightly impressed. Bit of advise if you are going to purchase this item. Dont use the stroller feature unless you constantly want to explain why you are pushing a bike trailer. The wheel attaches to the bar that would attach to your bike REALLY far in front of the trailer. It looks really clunky and people notice all the time. And the seat straps are not very well designed/explained. I had to spend some time with it and a large doll to figure out how they were supposed to go. The picture wasnt much of a help either. All in all though, my daughter loved it, and I am passing it down to a friend who liked it as well. If we have another child I would buy this again. Great Product Im taking this time because others take time to review things and its really helped me make good product selections. Thanks to you all! This cart is great. Better than the seat options by far: for safety, for carry space, light weightness, durability....if youre a parent wanting to get your kids behind the bike, and outside more...its great. It does have a flaw though that keeps me from giving it a 5. The crotch seat buckle that receives the shoulder straps is cheap, and too short...it should be adjustable. The seat itself is also too tall, it pushes the kids head forward when their wearing a helmet and makes helmet wearing a lot less comfortable for the kid. Otherwise, love it. Great for the price I love this trailer. Like alot of people have said the main issue has been the straps. They are very hard to get undone, so I went and spent $5 and got metal hooks and used metal circles for the connecters. WALA! They are super easy to use now. I have mosly used the trailer in stroller mode and a few times in trailer mode. The handle bar on the stroller is already a little cracked (not sure if it got stuck on something in the car, that is possible). My kids like it alot. I have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 15 mo old. Great Purchase!! We love it. We actually bought 2 of them for our 3 kids and they love it. So easy to to assemble, attach and detach from bike and convert to a stroller. There is not a ton of room for our two oldest kids when they are together, but they manage. For the price, it is the best you can find. Lots of storage in the back and works very well as a stroller. Dysfunctional buckles The price of this bike trailer is amazing so if you are on a tight budget you can make this one work. The quality seems decent overall except for the buckles which are poorly designed and very difficult to unhook especially if you are buckling between the legs of one rider. It will require modification to be functional. Great Value We bought this for our 3 year old daughter so she can go on rides with us. It works great, and is easy to set up. It fits easily into our trunk as well. There is not alot of space inside, so ideally for only for one child. Also they definately feel the bumps you go over. Great value for the money though. Great product! This was truly was "Quick N EZ". The trailer was very easy and quick to assemble and hook up to my bike. It is a little cumbersome to take apart for storage. Added bonus for me was the front wheel that came with it so that it can be used as a jogging stroller as well. The kids love to ride in it and the rain flaps are a great feature to keep the rain/wind out of the trailer. A great purchase at a great price! InStep Quick N EZ Bike Trailer LOVE this! I bought it for my handicapped little girl Dalmatian, to enable her to go on "walks" with my other dog and I. Works great! My husband took out the sling seat (for kids) and put a piece of plywood on the bottom, I added a couple blanket and off we go! InStep Quick N EZ Trailer Before buying this product I compared it to many others from $79.00 to $800.00. This one by far is better than the others. It has more features than most I found to be over twice the price. The swivel front wheel is a good example. It is well built, easy to use and folds up nice and small for transporting it. I strongly recomend this product. You will not be dissapointed. Riding Easy We just purchased this bike trailer. We havent had the opportunity to use it as a jogger, but as bike pull behind it has seems easy to use and enjoyable. It folds easy for storing and is easy to attach to your bike quickly. Our daughter seems to really enjoy it. I cant account for how it will wear and hold up after time which is my only real worry about it. The only other thing I am not totally sold on is the buckles and straps. There are several and none of them are super easy to use. Certainly though it was worth the price. InStep Quick n EZ Bike Trailer I love this bike trailer. It really is lightweight and easy to pull. I know its designed for use on pavement, but I have a rather long gravel drive and it does well on both. Love the ease of getting it attached to my bike and the storage it provides for toys and drinks! Yes, quick n ez Putting the trailer together was very easy and taking it on and off the bike is pretty simple. I am impressed that the trailer does not pull or tug when riding the bike. Other than a little extra weight it is hardly noticeable. The only difficulty is the small stiff hooks on the children safety straps are impossible to unhook, causing discomfort in my fingers and the children get very frustrated that it takes 5 minutes to unhook them. Otherwise good trailer for the money. Great for the price! This stroller is great! It pushes and steers so easily. I used it to deliver my Avon books, with the kids riding along too, as I am an Avon Independent Sales Rep. I have no complaints, but my son did along the ride. He is 6 and said that there wasnt as much seat room as our old one that was plasic and all one piece, but with no extra storage area and a lot larger/bulkier. And that he couldnt stretch his legs out. My daughter who is 4.5 had no complaints. It was very quick and easy to put together and even if you leave it put up to store it, it does not take up all that much room. Decent For The Price Paid Bought this item upon other customers reviews, price, and free shipping. Assembly was fairly easy. Only took about 10-15 mins. Directions were adequate enough to follow. I have pulled this trailer between 200 and 250 miles on various surfaces (city streets, sidewalks, gravel and dirt canals in AZ, and on grass). The ride seems to be comfortable enough for our 1 year old. He either looks out or sleeps. No problems with the size of the wheels compared to the terrain I have been over. There is enough space in the back to store whatever you may take along with you for longer trips (longest has been almost 40 miles so far). Can also fit two or three bags of groceries in the back (nice for store runs). Only takes about one to two minutes to assemble or disassembly for storage. It folds flat and the wheels can be removed easily to store in a small space. Can also hang on the wall. It could be built a little better since the canopy is secured with snaps and velcro (they still work fine but it seems that the snaps could wear out over time). The frame is metal. The wheels are plastic with soft rubber tires and contains ballbearings (surprised about this). A flag is also included (which is nice for traffic on streets) but you will have to tape the two pole halves together since they separate easily. Overall I am very satisfied for the price paid. If this one wears out in a year or two I will buy another one of the same model. Cant beat what you get for the price. Never used it as a stroller. Great trailer!! This is so easy to use, very light, and my son falls asleep in it every time!! I absolutely LOVE IT!!! The kid loves it! This was easy to put together, only complaint was in airing up the tires, they partially came off the rims the 1st time, not sure how you can remedy that. I put it together in about 10 minutes and when my son sat in it, I couldnt get him to get out. He ended up sitting in it in the living room and eating a snack. My husband was the one towing the trailer and he was surprised by how light it was and thought it was fairly easy to control. We did have a little trouble getting it to fold as flat as the factory did when we went to store it but nothing to get too frustrated over. All in all we like it a lot and the kid really loves it. It may be cheap, as in price, but it isn't cheap in quality I love this product! It comes with the essentials, ie: a orange flag to have sticking up so cars can see you, reflectors, the handle bar attatches and detaches real easy, and it has a five point harness for extra safety for little ones. It was super easy to put together and set up with my bike. In fact, it has been so easy to use, Ive taken it with me over 80 miles since I bought it in August--and I live in Washington state, the rainy capital. This little trailer has been a life saver, money safer and time saver--no more waiting for the bus, I can just go! There are two pockets inside for keys, cell phone, what you want can fit. The storage area behind the seat is easy to get into and has its own mesh vent in case the items need extra air. My five year old loves to ride in it and when the cover is up, she loves the wind in her face. Theres been enough room for her and a friend, although she still wants to fit three. Im sure theres room, but I dont want to cart around three children! If you buy this item, you are sure to be pleased as I have been. Not great, but it's cheap! To be honest, I really wanted a Burley trailer for my kids and I do even more now after having dealt with the Quick N EZ trailer for a year. Our first trailer we got for $25 at a garage sale. It was also InStep but I dont see that they make this style any longer. It had a hard plastic base as opposed to the canvas most (if not all) trailers are made of these days. My son would slip and slide all over. After just a few minutes of biking with no suspension and no seats, hed be slumped down with the straps around his neck. Needless to say, I wasnt going to make him endure that any longer! So we picked up the Quick and EZ for $80. We were pleased with how easy it was to set up and how quickly it folded down, though it still wasnt small enough to fit in the trunk of our Grand Prix. We now have a Sienna so its no longer an issue, but my sons comfort was immediately a factor from the first time he was put in it. The hammock-style seat is straight up in the back, so when he falls asleep he just slumps over and looks very uncomfortable. Not only that, but the airflow inside the trailer is a HUGE concern for me. After 10 minutes of biking in 80ish degree weather, he is beet red and soaked in sweat. Now, he is not in direct sunlight so thats not whats heating him up. Its that because the hammock seat is canvas and because the seat effectively goes from "wall to wall" inside the trailer, there is nowhere for the air to go, even though there is a vent in the back of the trailer. We started putting him in shorts and nothing else to try to keep him comfortable but he still gets extremely hot. How can I enjoy my ride when I know he is miserable? And you can forget about putting two kids in this thing unless theyre very easy-going and dont mind being squished together. When I was a daycare mom, I would regularly take my son and one of our daycare kids who was only 4 days younger than my son and about the same build, and the first few times they did nothing but fight! Sure they were two 2-year-olds, but can you blame them? The hammock seat forced them to lean into each other and make them even MORE hot! Would you really enjoy riding in the car if you were pressed up against the person in the seat beside you the entire time? Not likely! Aside from that major complaint, I do have to complain that the small wheels and lack of suspension make for a very bumpy ride and I also feel bad subjecting my kids to that. Also, it would be nice if you could only partially lower the sun shade to keep your baby protected. When were going in the wrong direction, he always gets sun on his thighs and sometimes even his arms if the sun is high. We always put sunscreen on of course, but if Im going to expect him to sit in there while I bike for two hours, Id like to make sure hes comfortable. So, all complaints aside, the trailer has one big plus. Its price. You cant beat the price, but you get what you pay for. This summer I am seriously considering spending one of my bonus checks to get my son a wonderful Burley trailer. Yes, its $450 and probably not practical if you only bike once in a while, but seeing as we bike daily in warm weather and sometimes 2-3 times a day, I think the price is justified to make sure he enjoys it as much as I do. Burley trailers come with large wheels with suspension, a roll bar, PADDED BUCKET SEATS!! with mesh on the upper part to allow for good airflow, and padded seatbelts. Yep, definitely getting a Burley this year! Ive waited long enough! ;) Very good Product works very well. Easy to assemble and easy to fit to bicycle. Two-year old loves the product. Great product and easy to assemble and use. I bought this trailer for my 18 month old and he loves it. Heres my list: PROS:Easy to assemble out of the box A storage space in the back of the trailer for extra items Able to change between a stroller and trailer with ease Folds up great in storage CONS:NONE Very Versatile! This bike trailer is wonderful!!!! It can be a stroller as well. It can hold two children up to 50 pounds each. Theres a rain flap and cup holders. Our daughter loves it!!! Great Product! This is a wonderful product! It has everything you need and if you get caught in the rain or if its windy and cold it shields them from it. I have a 14 yr old son and a 4 yr old son and this was the perfect gift to give them so they could bike ride together. It gives them something to do that they both enjoy plus gives them bonding time. Anyone who has children with so many years between them knows, its hard to get a teenager to hang with a 4 yr old! Thanks Amazon! I checked around and you had the best prices! Great for family bike rides!!!! When I orderd this product I did not expect too much from the item from reading the reviews however, when I got the bike trailer I found that it was easy to put togeather, had alot of room, and my daughter LOVED being in it! The bike trailer is easy to hook onto any bike, and is a great workout for the person pulling it behind them. This was a great purchase, and it was shipped super fast (we even got to take it out for a spin on christmas day!). There is a ton of room for your child in the seating area and even room in the back to take along a cooler for a picknic!! I will deffinately reccomend this product to my friends with children. InStep Quick N EZ Bike Trailer I bought this trailer for my daughter for Christmas. She was thrilled with it. She said it was very easy to put together and couldnt wait to try it out. Of course she didnt wait till Christmas! Good trailer for the money! As noted in other reviews, the seat is very flimsy and the harness is not so tight. However, everything else is great. Folds very easily and my son (18mo) LOVES it. Every time we go in the garage, he walks right up to it and tries to get in:) EZ trailer is EASY! I bought this for my daughter to cart my grandson in when she goes for a bike ride and we were all very happy with it. The trailer also doubles as a stoller. My grandson really seems to enjoy riding in it and he can carry his toys in there along with him. fun ride My kids loved riding in this. Its great if you use it ocassionally like we do. Its not easy packing up the car with all the kids, bikes and this as well!!!!Good Luck Excellent Value for Bike Trailer I would recommend this product because : 1. the price (on Amazon)was the lowest Ive found anywhere 2. product is high quality 3. easy to put together (wheels attach and sides to put up) 4. simple to attach to bike (in fact, Ive switched the trailer from my bike to my husbands several times with just a wrench) 5. fits either my 21 month old twins or one twin and my 5 year old (I even have a bike seat attached to my bike and I pull the trailer, to take all 3 kids for a ride!!) The only reason I didnt give it that last star was because the shoulder straps are sometimes difficult to remove from the crotch strap. Sometimes it takes a little work to wiggle it free. But certainly not a reason to not buy this product. I use the bike trailer on blacktop bike paths and neighborhood streets, I probably wouldnt recommend using it on non-paved surfaces. great product Trailer was very easy to assemble per husband. It attaches to bike quickly and easily. When riding it is as if youre not pulling a trailer at all. The turning radius is excellent. You can ride over bumps very gracefully. The trailer folds down flat in 3 easy steps for storage. I have absolutely no regrets buying this product and would recommend it. Happy riding. Awesome Trailer! I would highly recommend this. It is our first trailer and we use it for our 16 mo old and 2 1/2 yr old. The kids love it. Very easy to assemble, very easy to collapse. It is actually more compact when folded up than our regular double stroller. Good amount of storage space in back for extra jackets and diapers. And you cant beat the price through Baby Age. Oh, I also received it in only 4 days! Great! We purchased this carrier specifically for a trip to Florida and wound up using it almost every day. My 12 month old son loved it! Roomy enough for two kids, but he sat comfortably (and safely) in the middle by himself and couldnt have been happier. It folded up nicely for travel and was a breeze to put together and attach to the bike. I definitely recommend this carrier to friends and family. EZ is right This has been a great buy for us. Truthfully, we have used it more as a stroller than as a trailer but I love it as both. It is not heavy, easy to steer and spacious. There are two things I would change about it. I wish it folded up smaller and the seatbelt adjusters can be hard to undo. But my son loves it, I get exercise and it was a nice price. Fun & Easy The EZ Bicycle Trailer Is easy to store when not in use, easy to put together. It is well built, in trails great behind my bike. It is almost like not there. Plus the cost being 1/2 to 1/3 of what I seen in stores was the best part. good product I have had this product for a few months now and i like it. We travel A LOT, i just wish that you didnt have to pull off the wheels to get it to fold extremely flat. Its just one more thing to loose in the commotion of traveling. As for the straps....they arent that bad. there is low clearence in the bottom. and we wish that there was some way to remove the back of the seat so you could transport other things other than children when you have to....or when they outgrow it. But, in all as long as you have free shipping its a great buy!!! good product I have had this product for a few months now and i like it. But, in all as long as you have free shipping its a great buy!!! Love it!! The stroller is so easy to push! I have a sit and stand stroller that I use to use to push the girls up hills in my neighborhood. It was really heavy and made my walks less enjoyable. This thing is so much better! Help needed to attach the trailer to bike If any one knows how to attach this trailer to Schwinn bike please let me know. I had trouble finding which side of the bike to remove the nuts and bolts. superlight and compact very easy to take apart and transport, both my husband and I can do it, folds flat, much better than my old one that was the "bucket". easy to hook up to bike and take off. great deal. Well Worth It! This is so very handy! I purchased this item right before we left for the beach thinking we would just use it for bike rides. It turns out I didnt even need to bring my double stroller, too! I have 21 month old twins and packing for them can be frustrating. We used this the whole time as our stroller and the kids loved it! They would beg to go for so many walks a day up and down the boardwalk. It alone was the only entertainment they wanted! It is so lightweight and easy to push, too! I just wish I had bought one of these when my older daughter was younger. A Good Trailer for the Price Overall, this bicycle trailer was great to have during a recent family vacation. It folded down really compactly, which helped us to be able to fit all of our luggage into the car, and it assembled easily within minutes. When I first took it out of the package, I didnt even need the directions to assemble it (thank goodness, because the directions are rather confusing). It attaches easily to the bicycle and comes right off just as easily to convert to a jogging stroller. I would suggest getting an extra bicycle attachment. My husband and I needed to take turns lugging the trailer up hills at times (dragging two kids behind you is a lot of work!) and since we didnt have an extra attachment, we had to trade bicycles, which meant we needed to adjust the height of the seats all the time. There are a few things to consider before buying this trailer. First of all, there is no sturdy support within the seat area, and so the kids tended to sag towards the middle of the seat, even when we pulled the support belts really tight. However, despite the sag, my kids enjoyed the rides and even fell asleep sometimes. Also, there is no travel bag to put all the loose parts once you take it apart, so while its no problem if youre just going to keep it in your trunk, it might be a problem when you need to travel with it on say a plane, or in our case a ferry. Nevertheless, its a good trailer for the price, and I would recommend it to any family who is on a budget, but needs a user friendly bicycle trailer. A great bike trailer! I LOVE this bike trailer. The price is perfect and its very easy to pull. Im not an avid rider but have been riding more now that we can all go out as a family. Weve also used it as a stroller for a fast paced walk and it works great for that too! Its true that the belts are not the easiest but its a small inconvenience. I highly recommend this product! Love this trailer Took my 3-year-old granddaughter for a ride in this. Easy to use, gives a smooth ride, even over bumps. It was on sale w/free shipping, and I had a gift certificate. Great deal! Great! It is so nice to have the bike trailer because my whole family can go on a bike ride now instead of trying to have a someone watch my son while my husband and I go. I was surprised how well the trailer followed, and the type of terrian it was able to go over. And the best part is that my son loves going with us on our bike rides. Good Trailer, good price The trailer is a smooth ride, and is nice. I would highly recommend it. Just a note to those who have to store your bikes and equipment indoors, it is too wide to fit through a normal door, so every time in and out, it has to be disassembled. Its pretty good My kids love to ride it in, but the seatbelts they have are really crappy, they are hard to get on and they hurt my fingers some times. I dont feel that I can have the 2nd plastic shield down because the one time I did it got really hot inside and it worried me. The flag fell off multiple times,we actually lost it. Both of the tires keep going flat and that stinks but the good thing is that if you dont have a tire pump w/ you when you are out riding it does not make it harder to pull/ push. My kids like it a lot better than their double stroller we hardly use that any more. Quick, easy & enjoyable. Very easy to assemble, attach to bike and store. I have a 2 1/2 year old and 1 year old - gets a little too close for comfort but it works! Belts do cause chafing and are uncomfortable, but I think Ill take someone elses advice and sew something to them to avoid it. You dont even realize the trailer is attached except the need to make somewhat wider turns! After not riding a bike in a few years and then taking my 2 girls out for a ride yesterday - I was extremely pleased and surprised. They loved it. Great Buy! Easy and awesome! The name says it all. Its quick and easy (and its a bicycle trailer). Its a piece of cake to put together, to hook onto a bike, to convert to a stroller, and to collapse for easy storage and travel. Its light, so its easy to carry, but its durable so it can withstand different types of terrain. Its one of the best things weve invested in. I HIGHLY recommend it!! Easy and awesome! Well worth the money, and then some I bought this trailer so I could take my 2-yr old daughter with me on rides; I dont use it in stroller mode. I had considered a number of alternatives; all much more expensive. I figured Id go the economical route first to decide if I really needed to spend the extra bucks for other `features. Unless you plan to traverse the French Pyrenees as part of a peloton with one of these puppies in tow, this trailer ought to meet your needs. Having compared features with trailers more than triple the price, this one holds up in all regards. Pros: *Great engineering design *Folds flat (FLAT!) for quick, easy, space-saving transport and storage *Quick setup when ready to hit the road *Spacious interior with behind seat storage for snacks, toys, etc., as well as interior side pockets *Seat angle is good; some are not properly/adequately reclined *Stays upright even if bike pilot doesnt (yes, I took a tumble and the trailer was perfectly stable) *My daughter loves going for rides in her "chariot"! Cons: *Frame is made of steel, not aluminum (marginal extra weight, doubt itll rust before my daughter outgrows it) *Wheel outriggers would have prevented bike pilot topple; trailer wheel got caught on post; wouldnt have happened with outriggers *Belt straps need padding; my wife sewed fleece sleeves to slip over the straps to avoid chaffing Well worth the money, and then some I bought this trailer so I could take my 2-yr old daughter with me on rides; I dont use it in stroller mode. Very easy to put together. Took my kids out on it today and it works great. I think it is a very good product for the price. Wonderful Bike Trailer! I planned on purchasing 2 bike trailers and chose the InStep Quick N EZ as one of those two. I purchased the second trailer at Wal-Mart before my InStep had been delivered. Both trailers can be put together in about the same amount of time, but the InStep feels more durable and has more space behind the sling seat for carry alongs. Sadly, I paid about $30 more for the Wal-mart trailer because I needed it too soon to wait for a delivery. I really wish I had bought 2 InSteps. In any case, now my whole family can go on local trips without wasting money on everything required for a car (gas, insurance, repairs, registration, etc.) or even on bus fare. Quick & Easy! We received this item very quickly as promised, and it arrived in amazing condition with all parts. It was easy to assemble, and we love it. Would recommend this seller AND this product! ez stroller This is a very nice stroller/trailer, but it came with no instruction manual. I called Amazon and got a very swift call-back. The rep I spoke to sent me a link for the manual, but the illustrations were shoddy, and I never could make sense of how to attach to my bicycle. Absolutely love it! We purchased this trailer as a way that our family could ride together. It was easy to assemble. It is easy to switch to the stroller. Our 2 year old loves it and our 6 month old isnt too sure about it yet. I love that it is collapsible for transportation. I have recommended this to other people as well and will continue to do so!!! Great product! Great Bike Trailer This was a really great purchase! It works very well as a bike trailer and our nephew loves riding in it. It has a smooth ride and lots of storage room. It really makes exercising fun for all. However, it is not that great as a jogging stroller. It is really meant to be used as a bike trailer and they added the front wheel as an extra bonus, but it does not work that well. The front does not have enough weight on it so the front wheel tends to come off of the ground very easily when pushing it. It is also a bit big for a stroller. If you use this bike trailer as intended you will be very happy with it! Great! This arrived quickly and is very easy to assemble and attach to your bike. My 15 month old rides comfortably in it and loves it. She even endured a 3 mile bike ride just fine! I would recommend it to everyone. Great product We bought this for our three-year-old daughter and we love it! I especially love that it converts to a stroller. This is easy to pull as well as push when used as a stroller. Great for the money! I just received the trailer this week and used it about 3 times already. Its very easy to assemble and rides very smooth. You can use it on the road or even terrain that is a little bumpy like grass or dirt. It folds down easily for storage. Harness could be improved, though. Overall really good buy! Love it!!! I just bought this trailer in April 07. I researched quite a few but found this to be the best price for the quality. Im very happy with it. I use it at our campground with my 16 month old. He loves it. The installation was easy. I was missing the "tab washer" which was shipped out to me right away. The stroller pushes like a its on air. I will agree that the clasps are very hard to undo, especially with the childs weight on it. The rear compartment is large. So far very happy!! Great Product, Easy to store. Trailer rides well, initial assembly wasnt too hard. Once assembled, product stores extremely easy and uses minimal space. I was very surprised at how flat something this large can fold down to. The only thing I dont like about it was how much you have to fuss with the seat buckles when fastening your child in and out. The clips that strap down over the shoulders down to the legs are the tough ones....expecially when youve got some pressure on them from the childs weight. A great deal This bicycle trailer is wonderful! It is very light weight and very easy to pull. The directions are a little bit tricky (once you find them!) but I was able to figure it out. It is roomy inside and must be pretty comfortable...my 1 year old didnt complain. The only criticism I have for the trailer is that the "seatbelts" are so hard to clip and unclip. I wish the manufacturer would have put a little higher quality buckle in the trailer. Overall, a great deal! We LOVE it!!!!!!!! I bought this for my 2-1/2 year old. Shes not the type of kid to sit behind you & watch the back of your head while you get all the great views! This was great...she LOVES it, and so do we! We even mocked an accident (with stuffed animals of course!)..and it never tipped over! Just the bike did...the trailer stayed standing..now imagine some weight besides some stuffed animals..it would certainly stay put! You MUST use the flag that comes with it, cars coming at you...CANNOT see the trailer, they are focused on you...so use the flag! Ive taken this out for about 40 miles worth of traveling...and even when shes tired...she will stay in it & sleep while Mommy gets her excercise :) It appears to be better for one child, but 2 can fit...if they are under 50 lbs. each. Great for bringing groceries home too, theres a nice sized trunk in the back of it that your child cant get into! We LOVE it!!!!!!!! I bought this for my 2-1/2 year old. I purchased this product along with a bike as a mothers day present for my wife(and my 13 months old daughter). With the free shipping option, I received the product in about a week and it was pretty easy to put it together. The first time we tried it with my daughter I realized that the straps and the harness were not secure enough to keep her inside the trailer as they would be in an infant car seat. The other point is they are not as padded as youd think they would be for a 1-2 year old. The bottom and the back of the seat could also use some light blanket for comfort. Overall it looked like a pretty decent product and with the price that its offered at, it is still a good buy. For the straps I think Ill go ahead and buy a pair of Soft Wraps Strap Covers so my daughter would feel more comfy. Bicycle Cart This product is very nice and is comparable to the more expensive ones. My little girl loves it. Dual purpose, Good Quality Like most parents, reading good reviews always help in making a purpose. Before I order this trailer from Amazon, I bought a bike trailer from Wal-mart. To make short and sweet, I returned within a week; quality sucks, material sucks, was not able to convert to a stroller. Well for $75 and free shipping, I order this from Amazon. Immediately, the fabric of good quality. I didnt have to read the instructions, very easy to put together. You just pop the wheels in and it locks. The black aluminum looks like along with the black wheel. It may not last 3,4 or 5 years, but for $75, its a great value. My boy love to come along on bike trip! Not Bad, but you get what you pay for I was considering a nicer trailer, but in the end, I decided to go the cheaper route and give this one a shot, figuring if we got enough use out of it, I could sell it and upgrade. Well, I think were going to get some use out of it, but I dont know if it will last long enough to resell. The first trailer I bought had some issues, one of the wheels didnt turn well, and the very first time I went to fold it up after about a weeks use, a screw holding the crossbar along the top of the canopy pulled out of its plastic holder and broke, I had to return the trailer. The second on I got has held up ok so far, but Im being very cautious when I fold it. That appears to be quite a weak point in the design. The straps that hold the child in are somewhat adjustable, but they cut into my sons neck a bit. My biggest complaint is that you cant adjust the length of the bottom of the harness. The seat is ok, but not nearly as comfortable as my son would like. Its decent, but on a long trip I think he would get a little antsy. The wheels on this trailer are pretty small and that translates into a pretty bumpy ride. The seat and the floor are both made of the canvas material, which causes some sagging and I dont think its going to wear very well. The trailer weighs almost 30 pounds, on a flat surface it isnt a problem pulling it, but going up hill, its not the easiest thing. Overall this is a decent trailer, for the money, its not bad at all, just be prepared to deal with no frills design or materials and a rougher ride compared to the trailers with bigger wheels and more comfortable seats. We love it We got this to use as both a bike carrier and a double stroller. Putting it together was SUPER EASY since it comes mostly assembled. It is bit tight for 2 kids though, a 4 year old and 2 year old. Because the seat is not firm they tend to slide together and then fight because they are pushed up against each other. It attaches easily to a bike but be warned there is alot of drag almost like pulling a parachute. I am guessing every carrier would have this issue though. As a stoller it is very easy to manuever and push. There is some storage behind the seat and that adds to its convenience. good for the money I really like this bike trailer. I am not a seasoned bicyclist (I really havent rode much in the past three years.) I did not find this hard to pull on the local trails. I think it is a bit hard to pull on slight hills though. My kids are 17 months and 3 years. Their combined weight is about 65 lbs. My daughter is tall and she seems a little crammed in the trailer, but she doesnt complain. They both really like riding and my son usually falls asleep! There are little pouches on the inside of the trailer for sippy cups or snacks. The compartment behind the kids is roomy! I can easily pack a diaper bag, and a lunch box in it. It was very easy to set up and folds down. I can fit it under the back seat of my minivan. I usually dont have the third row seat in the van so I usually leave it set up and it fits in the van without being collapsed. I am very happy that I bought this! When my daughter doesnt fit with her brother anymore I might buy another one so me and my wife can take the kids in their own trailers. Great product. **If you are thinking about buying the cheaper ones that they sell at Wal*mart please keep in mind that the storage compartment is smaller. It also is a different brand. My sister in law has it and I prefer mine to hers. We love it We got this to use as both a bike carrier and a double stroller. Putting it together was SUPER EASY since it comes mostly assembled. This trailer is absolutely perfect for my two-year-old daughter who is still a little young for her own bike, but wants to go on rides with Mom and Dad. She has been enjoying it and even fell asleep in it a few times. I recommend propping up pillows or towels next to your child if you think he/she may fall asleep. If not, shes bent over in half! I was surprised that I didnt really feel awkward or much extra weight behind me (and my daughter weighs at least 32 lbs.). We live in a very flat area, so that must help. We ordered an extra coupler from the company for Dads bike, so its easy for either of us to pull her. We recently took our bikes and the trailer on a weekend trip, and I was pleased to see that set up and break down is pretty simple. The trailer fit in the trunk easily. I definitely recommend this trailer and am very happy I bought it! Easy to Use, Rides Great We just got this 2 weeks ago to use with our almost 1 year old son. Hes already a walker & has great head control, so we had no qualms about using it earlier than 1 year old. This was easy to assemble (even with the beagle & toddler helping out) and we were ready to roll. Riding the bike, you barely notice the trailer is there. My son weighs about 21 pounds, and the trailer is about the same, but only going uphill did it even affect my riding. Otherwise the only time I noticed it was going on & off curbs that werent quite wide enough. My son enjoys the ride, but we put a small pillow behind him so that his helmet isnt pushed forward by being all the way against the back of the seat. Now he can see whats going on and loves going faster than when we take the dog for walks. It really is a great product. We use ours for our dogs.We made some minor adjustments, but now I can exercise and not leave the dogs home!!! |
