![]() NiteRider Ultrafazer 3.0 Headlight 2 AA Black By: NiteRider More Information Great little headlight A very nice compact headlight. Pros: 3 LEDs focused into a single *very* bright beam (dont look directly at it!) with a nice even center bright disk. A clear plastic insert allows some light out the sides and bottom for additional visibility, but the solid black plastic on top prevents the light from bothering the rider. Steady and flash modes are straighforward and effective, as is the two-piece sealed case design. The front twists off the O-ring-sealed rear for battery access; a magnetic on/off switch in the back means no additional hole is required, so the claim that this light is "waterproof" is plausible. Two sizes of tube-mount brackets are included, and the light can be easily removed from the bracket by pressing a tab. The compact size (2 AA batteries are used instead of 4) makes it easy to carry in your pocket or use it as a handheld flashlight. Cons: The included batteries are just useless "heavy duty" batteries. NiteRider should either include proper alkaline batteries, or none at all. Conclusion: this is a very nice compact headlight for all-weather use, whether you want to use it in steady mode to light up the road, or in flash mode to maximize your visibility to oncoming cars.
