A good bike lamp

I started bicycle commuting a few months ago, and use this light for dark mornings on the way into work. So far it works well. It is bright enough as long as you dont go to fast. My ride in is about 45 min. and after 3 rides (2hrs. 15min.) I still have plenty of light. I have already recommended this product.

Because I used Cygo Lite products before, when it was time to add another light they were my first choice. I changed models and I did have a question or two about computability with other batteries systems by the same manufacturer. A quick call to customer service gave me competent, courteous help and the answers to my questions. The light itself exceeds my expectations! Simple design with a large thumb button makes operating the light simple even with gloves on. The helmet mounting bracket is easy to use and removes quickly if you prefer to finish the days ride with out the light attached. Burn time on a battery charge is as advertised. Great product - great service.

Item does not work according to specification

I am a daily bicycle rider approximately pedaling 10 kmiles a year. I am not satisfied with this product as it does not work according to specification. I am merely getting 1 hour of run time. The advertised 10 W of light power does not compare to an LED based lamp. Further, the charger is uncontrolled, which means that the charge time needs to be verified manually. This makes it impractical in daily usage, as I would envision to keep it on the charger when not riding; in order to always have a full charge when leaving the house. Unfortunately I would not recommend this item.
