Yes, SPD Compatible

These cycling shoes ARE SPD compatible. I had no trouble attaching my cleats to these shoes, so Im not sure what the other reviewer was doing wrong. The nice thing about these shoes is that they are more "casual friendly" so when I ride to lunch at a restaurant I dont have deep MTB cleats on. They look like regular shoes. I do like my Pearl Izumis better as the Velcro straps cinch down on my foot more securely, but they look a little funny in a restaurant so the adidas do the trick for those situations. My big problem was the slow shipping from [...]. After I placed my order it took them NINE days to ship. From other reviews that I have read elsewhere this is a common problem. They did not answer the customer service phone number when I called, and email inquires regarding shipping status resulted in the standard "well let you know when we ship" response. I wont order from [...] again. The product was fine, but the customer service was severely lacking.

Great Shoe For a Great Price

Having never used clipless pedals before, I was concerned about my first pair of shoes. I purchased these and have loved them ever since. It was easy to install the cleats and begin riding without any incedent. I would highly recommend these as a beginners shoe.

Ordered these about a month ago. They are very comfortable and look nice. I found other biking shoes to be tight on my feet or the fit was totally different than normal shoes. Very happy with the purchase.

These shoes work out great. I never dreamed I would like them so much. They are great shoes. I love the clipless pedals especially when going up hill. these work out great. for being a first timer with these shoes and a good set of pedals. I absolutely love them. comfortable for walking in especially when your main mode of transportation is a bike.

So frustrating!

These shoes look and feel very nice, but there is a MAJOR problem with them.
The cleat mount is drilled for the wrong size screws. You cant use standard SPD screws (or cleats for that matter) with these mounts! ARGH! I had to drill and re-thread the mounting plate to work with standard mounting screws.
