The bow construction tends to interfere with helmet straps. The elastic sport strap is impossible to use with a correctly fitted helmet. The lower back edge of the helmet forces the bows down painfully on the ears. The lenses are not friendly for quick changes, so I keep the clear lenses on for dark time rides, and carry a separate pair of sunglasses for later in the day, when the sun is up. More of a seasonal change out. When the sun will be up for morning and after work commutes, I could leave the dark lenses on all the time. I started using these when my morning commute was late enough in the year that it was before dawn. When used without the sport strap, they are workable, and they are very protective.
