First off, if you didnt read the review below, take note--the grey shades come with a black nosepiece (which the images here show). I wanted grey, but because of this, I got the black.
Second, none of the images here show how dark the lenses actually get (which isnt all that dark). They get a medium orange/brown color. The change is fairly gradual, and its almost hard to discern--but its quite easy to tell the dark lenses from the clearer ones. Also, the lenses arent quite as clear as they look here, but they are a fleshy color so they do look it while youre wearing them.
Overall, theyre pretty nice. I drilled a couple of holes at the back to tie an elastic band where it wouldnt be noticed (they stay on well by themselves, but I wear them playing soccer). Speaking of which, the frame is very flexible. Im not at all worried about breaking them. On: 2007-03-09
Getting the relatively clear lens in these glasses, it was found that the nose piece was stark black and it is very noticeable when wearing the glasses. The mfr. does not make a clear nose piece for this model, but then puts a clear nose piece on another model that has dark frames. Go figure!
Otherwise, OK.
