Not too light, not to heavy, comfortable, and worth getting, despite having a tag on the outside (which bothers me less after a few strokes with a black sharpie).

I like Russell tees and wear them because they are oversize and sturdy. The latest I received does seem slightly less fluffy, but the tag states it is another process -- moisture wicking, dries 4 times faster. I dont know if this is just hype or they have made it differently. The proof is in the wearing and laundering --- time will tell.

R.A. Not What They Use to be

Russell Athletic once made really great heavy cotton pocket tees (I have bought many over the years. I guess to hold their same pricing they have continued to make them from lighter and lighter weight fabrics. Sadly they are not any better than any other tee shirt out there at this point. It is getting impossible to find a good heavy cotton pocket tee anymore. Sorry, but why is it nobody wants to put a fricken pocket on their shirts anymore?? I quit smoking, but I still need a pocket for glasses or a pen! If anyone knows where I can find a pocket tee as heavy as R.A. was 4-5 years ago please let me know. I am still looking.

Reasonable product; OK price; quick shipping. I like these t-shirts because they have a pocket to store my stuff--pens, cell phone, etc. They last for about a year in occasional wearing. Recommended.

Russell Athletic Pocket - T's

I have worn Russell Athletic Pocket Ts for over 15 years. My first RA Pocket Ts were bought as irregulars at a Big Lot store some 15 years ago. They were selling them for $1.00 with the neck label cut off but the RA monograms on the sleeve and bottom were intact.

Since then I have bought quite a few from various sources and will continue to purchase Nothing but this item as long as they make them.

P.S. I still have and wear 2 of my original purchase after all of these years..
