![]() Delta Botticelli Four Bike Storage Rack By: Delta Average Rating: 3.0 Total Reviews: 4 More Information Leaning Tower of Pisa - JUNK! Unfortunately, my experience is the opposite of the other (positive) reviewers. What a pile of junk. The rack had several holes that were not drilled to match precisely and when I did wiggle everything to get it to jam together, one of the holes was off by 1/8". I had to re-drill. I do fine woodworking and some metal work, so I have experience, tools, and the ability to measure and assemble. But after three bolts stripped out (when I was getting them finger-tight) and the final result was a rack that leaned 15 degrees from plumb, I decided to throw in the towel. I had high hopes for this bike rack, but in the end found it to be a waste of time, money, space and effort. There is no way I would risk my expensive bikes on this teetering, wobbly, tilting mess. Watch out for shipping The product was damaged during shipping so I had to hammer the supports together with a wrench and hammer to get it to fit together. The product would have gotten great reviews four plus stars from me if the product was not damaged during shipping. . It has been a great help going vertical. It is good for lighter bikes. If you have a very heavy mountain bike that weighs close to 30-35 lbs, it may not be the best option for you. Road bike, commuter bikes, no problem. Great Bike Rack Easily assembled and well made. I built a plywood tray with casters to provide a mobile base for this rack so that I could easily move it around the garage. It holds 4 bikes and the mobile base also serves as a place to put gear. Highly recommended. |
