Red Fabric is completely see-through!

The shorts fit reasonably well, but the fabric was sheer to the point of showing everything underneath. Considering most cyclists dont wear anything else underneath their cycle shorts, it was pretty indecent!

You get what you pay for

I got two pairs of these about a month and a half ago and ride on average 10 miles a day. I wash them in cold water and hang dry them. They are starting to fray a bit at the seams around the padding. They are not the most flattering with the shiny spandex material and they pinch some at the elastic at the thighs.

Overall, I will wear these until they die and I would suggest them to anyone who isnt sure they want to cycle enough to warrant padded shorts but I will not buy them again.

Good Bike Shorts

I purchased these shorts because they are somewhat cheaper than others. They definitely make my rides more comfortable. They can be a bit uncomfortable though because the hem of the legs, where they sit on the thigh, has a slightly tacky plastic ribbon that sticks to your leg. I dont know if this is standard in bike shorts. This is my first pair. Clearly these are meant to keep the shorts in place, and they work, but after a few hours of riding, I notice that its itchy and painful where that plastic ribbon is.
I recommend these shorts for shorter bike rides, but they are not as comfortable for longer ones.

Fits very well. i like the design of the pads. i believe the products from aero tech designs are very good. i bought also the other design - the classic bike shorts - and they also fit very well. i would definitely recommend this to friends, families and future buyers.

These shorts are very confortable for long bike rides. They have a good lenght and the padding is very helpful to avoid sore behinds

Padded Cycling Shorts

The shorts are good for the price. As stated in other reviews, the padding is thin and more for experience riders. I wish the spandex was of a better quality, but they do the job.

Great buy and does the job

Since Im not a routine long distance biker, I wanted to try a pair of shorts that were not an investment. These added comfort and seemed to do the job at a reasonable price.

I went to the manufacturers site for these shorts and thought they sounded like they would be great. Upon receiving them and wearing them, the fabric is thin, the padding is thin, and theyre the only bike shorts I own that I cant wear to spin class due to the thin padding. I mountain and rode bike and was extremely disappointed in the quality of these shorts. Needless to say, I wont be purchasing another pair of shorts from this company.

Works Wonders

I enjoy these shorts for my weekend rides. They were great for when I went riding over 70 miles. The only problem I had with these was the stay in place strip on the end of the short. I attribute the problem to sensitive skin, but I ended up with a rash on my legs from it. After a week I still could see where I had the irritation.

I have been taking many cycle classes and finally purchased some cycle shorts. They make the ride more comfortable on my backside - the only slight drawback is the elastic around the thighs. They are not tight on me but could be on someone with larger thighs.

These are great shorts. The fit is perfect and the padding is neither too much or too little. These shorts have really made a difference to my level of comfort while riding! They are very reasonably priced as well!

Im a beginner when it comes to biking and I was looking for something comfortable that wouldnt break the bank. These shorts are definitely comfy, affordable, and make riding much more enjoyable. One thing that was important to me was that the shorts fit my thighs. I have pretty big thighs, but these shorts are just perfect. The sizing worked out well too, I am currently wearing a size 14 jeans and I got the XL which was perfect. The only reason I didnt give these shorts a 5 is because I think it needs a bit more padding so you can wear it for long rides.

These shorts do make riding your bike more comfortable. They just feel really weird when you walk around because they are so bulky. I still recommend if you are going to ride for any length of time.

a great fit for tall sizes

These shorts are the best fit for someone like me who is tall, with relative long legs and normal weight. Usually, I have difficulty finding the right fit in a bicycle shorts, struggling with too wide waists or too short a leg inseam. These fit like a glove and the length is great! FYI I am 5ft 11 and 160 lbs. The color ( I would call it electric blue rather then royal blue) makes for great visiblity on the road. The price is right.

Come a close second to Pearl Izumi Sugar Shorts!

These are fine shorts for an experienced cyclist. To start out with I would consider something with more padding, until you get used to wearing lesser padding. Otherwise, they are a great snug short and the sizing is right on.
