The padding is fairly thin, and the shorts are baggy but far from flattering. The outer baggy part rides up if you walk anywhere, but its pretty comfortable on the bike. The inner clingy shorts are a good quality.

Just what it says!

These shorts arrived quickly and are just what they said they would be. They may run a little big ... but then so does hubby! I ordered by his waist size but they are a little big and have to be pulled up by the drawstring some.

Not the tight, lycra compression short underneath, more of a meshy-type fabric, but the padding is top-quality.
