Perfest tire for converting a mtn bike to road.

Used this tire for my single spped project. Turned an old mountain bike frame into a single speed for around town use. This tire is excellent for that purpose. Essentially a road bike tire for a standard 26" mountain bike wheel.

Just be aware that you will probably need to purchase new tube as well. the tire calls for a much smaller tube than a typical mountain bike tire. It needs a 1" - 1.5" tube. I would recommend the smallest tube as the 1.25 - 1.5 I used was a tight fit but worked just fine.

Otherwise this is a great tire that I dont hesitate to recommend. Like most Michelin tires it is more expensive that competitors but in my research it is the only true road tire available for a 26" wheel.
