Time to buy another set.     On: 2008-03-15

I have several pairs of bibs of 3 different brands. The PI Quest is the cheapest one, and the most comfortable. I have had mine for over 2 years and it is just now starting to fray a little on the right inner thigh from contacting the saddle. That is because I wear this bib more than all my other bibs combined, due to the comfort. The Quests stretch fabric presses very gently against my leg muscles, while the other brands squeeze a bit uncomfortably. I dont know what the new chamois is like, but if it is as good as what I have now I will be happy with it. The rubbery PI logo on the legs does not stretch as much as the underlying fabric so the logo gets splits and cracks in it after some use. Still, for the price, comfort, and durability, I will be buying more soon.
I need some more.     On: 2008-03-15

My first pair of these bibs are starting to fray at the right inner thigh after 2 years of use. I also have some Santini bibs that are almost as old, but are in like-new condition because I seldom wear them. The Pearl Izumi Quests are so comfortable that I wear them almost exclusively, so they are finally wearing out. They are just snug enough, without feeling tight. The chamois pad is great, but I havent worn any with the new pad. I guess I will see about the upgraded pad soon, as I am ordering more of these bibs. They are equal to some other brands higher priced bibs. The only downside is the PI logo is a rubbery material that doesnt stretch as much as the cloth so the logo does get some cracks after a while.
