The directions on with the brakes are a little complicated, it would actually be easier to look at the picture of the brake system, and use the direction. I didnt realize that the little brass nipple thing went on the left side, i was trying to sink the anchor into the groove. I tested them out, they work great. Got them for my 1982 - 86 Peugeot Orient express. Better brakes would be easier to find, but these will work for now.

great breaks low price

these brakes are great. i was a little nervous that they were going to be low quality because of the low price BUT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. I know alot about bmx and i can tell you first hand that these brakes are excellent when installed and tuned properly. The springs are great, and when the tighten them and adjust the tension of the springs they snap back quickly and are very responsive. this comes with all of the necessary hardware to accommodate any break set up (ex: front, back, dual lower cable back, single cable back, ect.) The only down fall with these, is a very easy fix which i would imagine most serious bmxers would change anyways is the break pads. The stock break pads are not bad but i would definitely recommend swapping out the stock pads with some new ones.
