lacks fitting ring, otherwise fine

The helmet is basically Okay, but it was not easy to adjust it for my kid because it doesnt have the fitting ring. All the other helmets that we own (even those comparably priced) do have one, so I mistakenly assumed thats a standard feature nowadays.

Grandson Loved It

My grandsons go through helmets about once a year so Ive been replacing them at Christmastime. I have trouble with sizes every year. This one was a perfect and comfortable fit with the additional pads for my soon-to-be nine year old. I also bought the Bell Blade Youth Bike Helmet for my soon-to-be six year old and the Bell Child Bike Helmet and Elbow/Knee Pad Value Pack for my soon-to-be four year old and they also were perfect fits.
