I love Crank Brothers, but...

I used to own two pairs of Candys, and 2 pairs of eggbeaters. Now I own 4 pairs of eggbeaters. The ti pair of candys I had basically stopped spinning freely within the platform. When I noticed it on this pair I checked my Cromoly pair of candys, and same problem. Took them apart, cleaned them, re-greased them and still the same problem. I contacted Crank Brothers, which were very friendly and helpful, and told me to ship them the pedals and they would repair them. After receiving them back in about 5 days time, the spinning was improved, but not completely. Still a little resistance. So I sold the Ti pair, and the cromoly pair I just gave away for free.
I replaced the ti Candy with a 4ti eggbeater. Problem solved. BTW that 4ti eggbeater is really amazing. But keep in mind with the Ti pedals there is a rider weight limit of about 185lbs I believe.
