Very straight forward, no frills. One big V-shaped compartment with one smaller outside pocket. I ride my bike to work 2-3 times a week, and one of these panniers carries all I need: my shoes (granted, I wear a womens size 7) my clothes and my breakfast. I carry my wallet, keys, etc in the outside pocket. Ive not tested it in the rain, but its very easy to put on and take off and carry into work. Ive used both panniers to carry picnic items, lots of room, doesnt get in the way when I pedal. Great product, great price.
