Does exactly what it is mean to     On: 2008-06-11

They are cheap and work great. That is pretty much all there is to these. However, make sure that you are buying these in order to make yourself more visible to drives, and not to make late night rides more visible to you. They do offer some light on your pathway, but not enough to make it worth it if that is your goal. If, like me, you are simply looking for an inexpensive way to keep from getting hit by drivers at night, then this is one of your best choices.
Nice cheap auxilary lights     On: 2008-05-28

I wouldnt use these as my only light, but theyre great to clip onto clothes, bags, belts, or whatever to increase visibility. They are both bright and project pretty far.
Great value     On: 2008-04-19

I bought these lights for my little kids bike. I bought them primarily because my bigger kid has a headlight on his bike and the four year old would want one too. It took a bit of time to figure out where to mount the lights because the bike was so small. The lights are bright enough at night that the bike is visible from quite a distance even though he is not allowed to go anywhere without an adult walking along.

Like all of the Planet Bike products I have bought recently, this is great value.

Obscure batteries suck! Should be AA, or AAA only!     On: 2008-03-31

I bought these as flashing lights to protect me from cars - not to illuminate my path (Ive got a pair of Cateyes for that). These are cheap (thats why theyre cheap). While they do flash nicely, the batteries cost about the same as the stupid lights I suspect, I havent bought new ones because I havent seen them anywhere Ive glanced at. Theyre obscure watch battery like things, not the AAAs I was hoping for.
excellent value to price     On: 2008-03-31

These little lights are really a great value. Theyre quite bright and extremely visible. Small, easy to handle and flexible in use. My son, in particular, kills or looses lights with all too much regularity, but thats rather to be expected from a 10 year old.

I purchases several sets to have some backups. Im contemplating removing the clip form a couple of the red ones and gluing them to the back of various helmets since we often ride after dark given the weather in our Phoenix desert environment.

The batteries, while to first appearance, are odd, theyre actually quite common and becoming more so everyday. They are commonly available and the lithium should give a significant service and storage life.

I am likely to order another couple of sets in the near future just for backup.
I love blinky light!     On: 2008-03-22

I wanted a simple, easy to install set of lights for my bike. I commute to and from work everyday on some busy city streets. The blinky lights were a snap to put on and you cant beat the price. The lights dont provide any illumination, but the flash feature certainly attracts attention.

Big thumbs up.
Good Deal, bright enough for the city     On: 2008-03-11

Nice small lights for evening riding in the city. Not bright enough for nighttime trail riding but small, cheap, removable. What more could you ask for for $10.
I like them for kids bikes     On: 2008-03-03

I bought 2 sets for my kids bikes. They are small, which goes very well with kids bikes. They are very bright! Very easy to install. I wanted something to make the bikes more visible if/when my kids ride them in the late afternoon. Plus, I know they will enjoy riding their bikes even more with these flashing lights on them!

Excellent value! Wouldnt buy it specifically for illuminating the road but you do get some visibility with it.
For the money you just can't beat them     On: 2008-01-03

I love that Planet Bike gives 25% of its profits back to the cycling community. Id be them for that reason alone. But they are also really good. Perform well if ou are riding in urban areas with street lights. easy to install too.Down Low Glow Lighting Kit - Two Tubes -Ice(blue)Down Low Glow Lighting Kit - Two Tubes-Envy(green)Wildflower Mountain Biking for WomenPerformance Mountain Biking
Tricky installation     On: 2007-12-17

The rubber that goes in between the bracket and the bike bar is difficult to handle, makes installation longer than expected. The screws are too short for the purpose. Light is fine.

Work very well     On: 2007-11-13

I have only used this product a couple times but the LED lights are very bright and the flash or steady light is a nice feature. For the price I think this is a great product. Dont know how long the batteries will last but they are replacable.
Plantet Bike Blinkey lights - Planet Brilliant!     On: 2007-10-19

this things are fantastic for the money. I feel really safe finishing my late summer/early fall rides with them on. Super easy to use, nice switch feel, good mounting brackets. And ya, these suckers are bright. I like too that Planet Bike donates some of their profits. Cheers.

Good lights, easy installation. Only down side, and it was expected is projection distance of front light.
Very cool for kids     On: 2007-08-07

Just got these in the mail, so cant speak for battery life, but these are really neat for kids bikes. I have a 5 and 8 year old, and they love these little lights. They are about the size of a small egg... not very big at all, but they really are very bright. The headlight bulb fit perfect on the bike and has 3 modes. Push the button once and it flashes (fast like a strobe light), push the button again and the light stays on, push again and turns off. The head light can also be adjusted up or down. Very easy to install and use. The red light does the same except does not adjust once on the bike. My kids were riding in the garage in the dark today having a blast with these lights! Id even get one for my own bike, if I rode at night. Very fast shipping also.
