Bad choice

It was a bad surprise. The watch is very ugly, too much different the picture. The service of delivery was perfect.

good looking solid performer

i wanted a chronograph with the look of a casual watch so i could wear it everywhere and not have to see a constant digital display. its fabulous to look at, rich brown leather band, nicely shaped bracelet style with chrome accents. a bit chunky but lean enough to be comfortable. its a bit too bulky and pretty to run in, but it would be perfect 1-watch for travel. the watch band is waterproof leather exterior and resin interior, so no ruining expensive leather watches during a pick up game with my students. the underside is a maroon tint and pretty visible from all angles so you might need to begin coordinating your surrounding wardrobe. dissappointments: no second hand on the analog display, poor back lighting (timex patented their blue light version), no alarm or beeps, and no digital time display. from the picture online, it looks like it does both, so be aware, it is ONLY an analog display with chronograph. NO DATE either, which has been a little annoying. you also custom cut the band to size. i prefer a watch i can adjust depending on the conditions, but once its cut your stuck with it. some people might find this a bonus, but if im running, it needs to be snug, but at work, dangling like an accessory was what i was after. 4 vs. 3 stars b/c timex sets the sport watch bar pretty high, and its hot to look at. wont buy again.
