Nashbar Bicycle Cover     On: 2009-08-20

Good cover for a good price (which has since increased). My husband has a ten speed bicycle which was taking up to much room in the storage shed, and kept getting knocked over as I was taking the smaller bicycles in and out for our children. My husband is 6 ft. 3 in. tall so the seat is high. The cover does not cover the back or front wheel completely, but I was most concerned about covering the frame and seat which it does. All in all a good cover for the price (which at the time I purchased the cover in July 09 was less than $15.00.
Decent for rain- DONT USE WHILE TRANSPORTING!     On: 2009-08-11

I bought this cover to protect my new midrange trek mountain bike while I kept it outside at school. The quality was pretty decent- as others have described, a tent-like nylon material, much better (i thought) than plastic ones. It did pretty good in the rain, although it didnt cover the bike entirely, and it was a little difficult to put on. The velcro straps at the bottom are in odd locations and didnt really do much for me.

I ran into big trouble when I got smart and thought it would be a good idea to cover my bike with the Nashbar cover when I transported my bike on the roof rack of my SUV. The cover completely ripped to shreds because of the wind, and the worst part is that it implanted little nylon fibers all over my bike. The chain, the gears, even the spokes were covered with nylon fibers! This was probably user error, but it made me doubt the quality of the material, and I will look elsewhere for a replacement. Maybe some heavy vinyl.

Conclusion: Overall, not a bad cover, and much better than the plastic film ones. However, do not expect to hold up under high wind!
It's crap and did not fit     On: 2009-03-05

This was a total waste of my money and it only lasted one night before it blew off my bike and i had to go track it down. I have a standard 19" mountain bike and it wouldnt even fit over the handle bars. So not only was it small but the straps were a joke and couldnt keep it in place when the wind started blowing. I should take a real picture of the cover and post it so you can see how it does not cover your bike, unlike the picture used here.

Late Arrival     On: 2008-12-16

Unfortunately it is difficult to write a review because I still have not received as of this date.
So-so bicycle cover     On: 2008-11-29

I bought this bicycle cover to use at college. The quality of the material is pretty good (thick, not thin and dosent feel like it will fall apart) and there are two straps on the bottom, at the front and the back. However, it does not cover the bicycle completely. I have an Adult Mountain Bike. For example, I can get the front covered completely to the ground, but then the bottom half of the back wheel will be revealed. And there should be a strap in the middle, to prevent the middle going up when its windy (and raining).

I like the quality of the Nashbar bicycle cover I purchased however it does not completely cover my bikes. I would prefer a more oversize cover.
husband's buje     On: 2008-08-15

The only complaint is that it does not cover the entire bike. It covers enough to make my husband happy.
good product     On: 2008-06-19

It is lite, packable, has its own bag, and covers a bike with panniers and/or arrow bars. I will use for multi-day camping trips to cover everything at night. Good price, jump on it.

A simple, gets-the-job-done cover. I only wish it had a strap in the middle to keep it from billowing so much in the wind.

Works great, best price. Conveniently fits into a small zipper bag that it comes with. The material is like a camping tent so its lightweight but waterproof.
Good for needs.     On: 2007-10-19

The bicycle cover works well. Velcro latches hook onto the wheels (it would be wonderful if you could latch them while the bicycle is in its locking place, however I do not share that luxury), and they hold the cover down well. When windy, cover does bubble up and leave gears bare. However youll just need to keep an eye on it. There is also no protection from stealing.

Overall, you get what you see in the picture (sans bike and house).

Decent cover for the price     On: 2007-07-10

Bag is made of nylon and comes with a matching bag for storage. Made out of similar material to a standard camping tent. Definitely worth the money, for a budget cover.
