Five stars for quality, but the product information provided by Amazon was lacking an essential detail

I bought these for my brother in Hawaii, who provided details of his bike and wheel and tire size. In a nutshell, his tires are 40cm wide, so I figured 45cm wide fenders should be fine and the descripton notes theyre made to fit hybrid bikes--which is what my brother has. When he looked at the description, he was thrilled thinking I had gotten exactly the right ones and in the right size--but I hadnt.

Turns out theyre compatible with up to 35cm wide tires, so the tires would actually rub the fenders if my brother installed them.

On the upside though, these are gorgeous fenders. Im an avid cyclist and saw these on a bike locked up on a New York City street, and was very impressed by the look, materials, and quality construction. My brother said that, had they fit, they would be easy to install.

Especially if you live in an area where they use road salt and sand in the wintertime, you want fenders like these which will not only hold up to punishment and look good doing it, but not rust, warp, or dent. These really fit the bill--if only they actually fit the hybrid size bike tires as described.
