Torker Boardwalk Alloy Cruiser Stem 22.2mm Silver By: Torker Average Rating: 2.0 Total Reviews: 1 More Information Basic Alloy Cruiser Stem I needed a riser cruiser stem for a bike build and preferred aluminum, but most available stems are steel. I found this one, but could not find any information on it other than the "22.2mm" and "alloy" descriptors. Although there is no picture and no real description, I took a chance and ordered it. First some basic details to see if this stem works for you: It is a quill stem for a threaded 1 inch headset. Thats the 22.2mm figure they give you. Its also designed for a handlebar with a 25.4mm clamping area. It weighs 360 grams on my scale. The quality of the finish on stem is not so great: Its a shiny clear anodized finish, but the aluminum forging/casting has flaws, i.e., its not completely smooth. Its made by Promax, if that helps you gauge the quality. The bolts are allen bolts of pretty good quality. For $11, its not a bad deal, but no Cinelli. |
