09 pearl Izumi MTB shoes

The shoes are have been great so far. They feel light, with great breathability. The straps secure firmly, and the midsole feels very rigid. Pedalling feels very efficient.
They arrived with the grooves exposed to attach the cleats (helpful because cutting out the sole can accidentally damage the midsole and shorten the life of the shoes)

One disappointment was the sizing. I am a European size 46, but the shoes were a little too tight. Wearable nevertheless, but uncomfortable over long periods. Im sure they will stretch up to become perfect for me in time, but if I was riding off road & walking the bike alot, the fit and stiff sole would make this annoying.

Aside fromt the shoe size issue, I think the shoes are awesome.
