Well made, nice looking shorts with a comforatble chamois.The material is light and seems to be breathable. I havent had a chance to ride with them in hot weather yet. Good coverage with longer inseam than most shorts. Appears to be durable and has plenty of pockets. The waist seemed to be a little snug for the size without much stretch, and there is no fly and the chamois is not removable. Good value for this type of short.

I usually dont buy my apparel on the web, but when I saw these I had to buy it simply for the great price. I received my order a week ahead of schedule and when I opened the package the first thought that came to my mind was that I had just robbed someone. Super quality, from a name you can trust and a great price. I agree that they are a bit longer than I like but I can adjust. I ordered another item from the company and when I called to ask about their sizing, the kid was helpful, fast and accurate. You wont go wrong if you order this product from this company.

The shorts are perfect for mountain biking or even a winter spinning class. I dont wear tight spandex shorts while mountain biking, but I do want the padding. These shorts give me both. They look like causal cargo shorts - but have the built-in bike shorts with the gel pad. Lots of pockets for a trail snack etc. If you hate the look of "smuggling grapes" but want the padding - these are for you.

When it comes to off-road shorts Fox has it figured out. The chamois is the right thickness, the material is light & breathable, and the fit is good. My only problem, and this is with all baggys, is why no fly? When nature calls I hate to pull my shorts down to my knees like a 5 year old!

Im going to start this by saying these shorts are for mountain bikers or bikers who want a quality BAGGY short. They are a bit longer than most baggies and some wont like that they ride very close to the knee joint. I, however, love these shorts. They are extremely comfortable, fitting just right with no rub spots. They have a very nice waistband and I like that the drawstring is on the outside. The pockets are good although I dont use them much.
One warning (which goes for all new padded shorts)... dont judge the comfort of the padding until youve worn them and washed them a couple of times. All new shorts feel a little stiff "down there" when you first put them on.
The quality of these shorts is definately worth the price. Ive gone cheap before and it usually doesnt pay off.
