Wonderful cable

Perfect blend of weight vs. security. Its a nice thick cable that retains a lot of flexibility and isnt so heavy it weighs down your bike noticeably. I NEVER leave my trusty bike exposed for long periods of time and with a heavy duty pair of bolt cutters this cable - like almost any other - would be toast. But for errands where you are in and out relatively quickly (the odds of someone just waiting and watching with a big pair of bolt cutters are always very slim for grocery store runs etc.) this cable makes me feel quite secure. Its long enough to get around a bike rack, light pole etc. and through both the front and rear wheels which is nice. You would fight a coiled cable endlessly trying to do that - this basic straight cable is the only way to go in my opinion. For my uses this cable simply cannot be beat.

If you are leaving your bike unattended for long periods of time you would want something more in the line of a Kryptonite FugheddaAboutIt but if someone wants to steal something bad enough they will find a way regardless.

This is a perfect cable for the usage described. Amazons price with Free Super Saver shipping makes me 110% satisfied with my purchase.

I have been very bad, and these cables punish me oh so good.

My dom says these cables took me the longest to chew through and left the biggest welts on my wrists, ankles, and "other" places.

Heavy-duty, as secribed, does the job

I dont live in a big city but I have a nice bike that I rely on on a lot and this cable, along with a nice lock, seems to be serving me well. Its a good length for doing a complete lockup and it has withheld the weather very well. Best deal out there that Ive found.
