Work Just Fine for Me

I bike commute about 20 miles a day, been using these for about a year with no problem.

Ive been using this brand/style of tube on my road bike for the past 18 months (mostly because its the only tube readily available at Dicks). Ive noticed that some (~20%) of the tubes have soft spots that show up as dips when the tube is even just partially inflated. These tubes tend to last me about a week (~30 miles) before they flat. However, if the tube doesnt have any soft spots Im able to use them until I hit something that my tires just cant protect any tube against.

Avenir Tubes have not served me well

Ive gone through 3 tubes in less than a month. The problem I have is when I pull the pump head off the Presta valve. The valve stem separates from the tube leaving a large hole in it. I think the problem is the tubes. Will not buy again... No Way!

I plan to purchase either Quality or Michelin tubes this time. Im hoping they are better built.

avenir tubes blow...don't buy them

I purchase three Avenir tubes some time ago and I have concluded that they suck!. I used the first two a few months ago and they both blew on the same day. Yesterday I used the last one to repair a flat and it blew within one day. They all had some kind of stem problem. If you want to waste your money buy these...if not consider something else.
