![]() Pearl Izumi P.R.O. Microsensor Cycling Short By: Pearl iZUMi Average Rating: 3.5 Total Reviews: 3 More Information Best Century cycling short at any price! The P.R.O. microsensor is has been around with minor changes for several years. The chamois is the best at any price and this is your double century short against any short at any price. Comfort of any short begins with the chamois and the fit, which translates to little or no movement against your skin, and moisture movement away from the body is the best of any short. I own and have ridden many thousands of miles on virtually every short including Assos and for half the price these are the best short. There are riders in the pro peleton who iron on the decals of other shorts to wear these in tours where a saddle sore can mean the difference between placing well and abandonment. Another bonus is the slightly smaller chamois does not feel like a diaper! Look for the 08 microsensor short on sale. The only difference is the silicon leg grips and they can be found under 100 dollars. I find these also hold up better than my Euro shorts. For the price there are better I cant speak to how well this short performs because I am returning them before actually wearing them. Right out of the box the decals are flaking off and some of the stitching in the seams are a bit sloppy. Both things Ill admit are cosmetic , but at this price I expect much more. There are other shorts out there in this price range that are constructed better. excellent bike shorts These are little pricey but really are some comfortable bike shorts. I have found them to be comfortable in a variety of temperatures as well as a variety of bikes. They fit well and pretty much do what I want them to. rrh |
