GREAT!!     On: 2009-11-09

This bladder is exactly what I expected it to be. It is only slightly larger than a 2 liter bladder ( a little longer ~ 6-7"), so if this is what you want it for, just make sure that there is enough room in your bag. The twist lock cap is excellent! It is easy to close with one hand, making filling a breeze. The mouthpiece on this is also awesome, much simpler design than some other brands and it gives you a lot of volume with each sip. I am very happy with it.

Handy, but a bit chemical-y tasting     On: 2009-10-13

I love the convenience of having a CamelBak reservoir: it packs nicely out of the way in my rucksack and I can hydrate while hiking without having to pause and mess around with water bottles. However, I used my new reservoir for a 5 week/500 mile hike and Im wondering when it will stop tasting like chemicals. Next hike?
What I was looking for!     On: 2009-09-20

This product is exactly what I was looking for to fit my CamelBak. It was even quite a bit cheaper on Amazon than the CamelBak website.
The nicest plastic bag with a straw I ever bought     On: 2009-09-08

Yes, the CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Replacement Reservoir is a bit expensive if you consider its just a plastic bag with a straw that you can drink from. But it has an excellent design and it wont let you down.
Great quality     On: 2009-07-10

This is my first bladder and i am extremely pleased. I use this primarily for backwoods hiking. This size might be a bit much for anything less. Good price, great strength and no leaks. I expect to be using this for a long, long time.
Great product!!     On: 2009-06-08

I was excited to get this in. It is my first bladder. I will be using it in a Kelty Red Cloud backpack. The bladder is almost to big, but it works. What sold me on this was the video [...] that showed a truck running over one and the bladder made it without a scratch, or more importantly a leak.
So far so good. Its great. However I do reccomend that if purchasing this be sure to purchase a stop valve to go with it. I set my pack on top of the bite block, and the weight of the bag opened the bite block enough to let the water run out, all over my sleeping bag and pad inside my tent! But that was operator error.
Fits my back back, but . . .?     On: 2009-02-22

Without knowing the dimensions of this
reservoir, I bought it hoping for the best.
WaaaLaaaa it fits inside my pack perfectly,
but if you have a backpack with a slot for
a water bladder, try doing a little research
before buying. I contacted the seller and
suggested some sort of sizing beside
fluid ounces. But happy with what I got
I would recommend, a bladder of some
sort for anyone out hiking (better then
carrying plastic bottles)!
Almost perfect item     On: 2009-02-10

I really like this product. it works great, holds a good amount of liquid and is very convenient when on a mountain bike. The only thing i think needs a bit of improvement is the nozzle to drink out of. it is a bit slow and hard at times to bite and drink. It takes some getting use to but overall it is a great product for the price. A good tip is to use a large plastic bag around the container in a backpack to avoid cleaning up the condensation.
Quality is top notch     On: 2009-01-20

Quality used to be in every product but now its a word I use less and less often. I think that any company that offers a lifetime guarantee knows that they are making a quality product. I am confident that I could run this over in my car and it wouldnt break. What else can you say that about? This was a good addition to my Eagle Industries AIII hydration capable backpack. I also ordered a CamelBak 100-Ounce UnBottle for use outside of my pack. Either way, CamelBak make superior quality products.
great product, 100oz capacity, wide mouth easy to fill/clean     On: 2009-01-20

great product, 100oz capacity, wide mouth easy to fill/clean. Only drawback is that I should have purchased the insulated sleeve so I could use it outside of my hydration capable backpack in cold weather situations.
Camelbak Omega Resevoir     On: 2009-01-17

Great product! The only thing that I noticed is that it does have a slight plastic taste. I hope that it will go away.
Quality Fit     On: 2008-12-02

The hydro pak is a perfect replacement and supliment for the smaller hydro pak I have in my Rudy Project Hydro Pak. Great Price and quality too.
Great water tank!     On: 2008-11-10

Mainly got this for hiking & camping. Like many others stated, this is odor free which is the main reason I got this brand. Good buy at a good price.
Great Hydration Bladder     On: 2008-10-29

I just did a 4 day backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon and this reservoir performed quite well. Lid is a little difficult to screw on sometimes but the wide neck makes for easy cleaning. The bite mouth piece worked well and didnt leak. You do have to be careful when laying your pack down and not pinch the mouth piece or you will cause it to release the water.
Overall, this is a rugged reservoir. I highly recommend it.
mmm water     On: 2008-10-18

Its awesome and fast shipping. The only thing is I use it in my DaKine Heli-Pro Pack and where is comes out inside the shoulder sleeve squeezes it sometimes and it makes a mess because the mouth piece opens.
excellent! tasteless water!     On: 2008-09-16

This is a great product. I bought this to expand on my original 2 liter CamelBak reservoir. Unlike earlier models the HydroTanium offers a coating on the inside of the reservoir that preserves tastelessness in water. Ive had water sitting in it for *weeks* at room temperature, took it up with me on a 3 mile hike, and enjoyed the water on the hike...amazing.

It fits into a regular CamelBak backpack, even if the pack originally came with a 2 liter reservoir.

Three liters is a lot of water! Definitely nice to not have to worry about how much water I have; it seems bottomless.

bladder     On: 2008-09-16

this bladder slips nicely into any backpack, long pipe for those requiring it, 1.4l is good for short walks or bike rides, easy to clean. Great quality, purchased separate right angle elbow for preferred angled bite valve set up.
Improved material, but doesn't come with hydrolock valve     On: 2008-09-02

I bought this to replace the last camelbak reservoir I got awhile back, which started leaching plastic like crazy. So far, the new reservoir seem to be a vast improvement. The drawback is that it doesnt come with a hydrolock valve like my previous reservoir. (It is now a separate accessory you have to pay extra for.) I just swapped the valve from my old reservoir to the new one.
Camelbak Hydration     On: 2008-08-18

This is the BEST Hydration pak I have. The service was EXCELLENT as usual but the Camelbak is FAR SUPERIOR than any other Hydration system I have. It does not leak, It holds almost a gallon of water, The opening is large and you can easily wash the inside. I love it!!!
Disappointed     On: 2008-08-13

The tube is permantly fixed to the storage bag. A good camelbak has detachable tubing for easy replacement.
High quality reservoir     On: 2008-03-10

This is a High quality reservoir - CamelBak, what would you expect?
I bought this for my JanSport Odyssey Daypack.

While it does fit and work in the reservoir section of the pack, there are a few less than ideal issues.
1) The Velcro that closes the reservoir section of the pack on either side of the reservoir cant be attached due to the width.
2) The little tab that connects the reservoir to the pack works - sorta. It doesnt appear that it was made for this type of connection, but Ive not had any sagging or other disconnects. good enough, I guess.
3) the length of the drinking tube is just a little too short, IMHO. It works and it is long enough to drink from - Id just like 3 inches more.

The drinking tube fits through the little tube tab in the pack perfectly.

The reservoir hasnt leaked at all. Not from the tube connector, the drinking side of the tube, nor the filler cap. Nice. I just wish that my Jansport were setup to accept this high quality reservoir.

IMHO, a good buy for a Camelbak, easy drinking and cleaning capability..........good price for what you get............
