Neat. (tighten QR stronger than you do for suspension fork)

Very nice fork. When the fork was new, i found that the front Quick Release (QR) will often slip (due to hard braking) and will be retained only by "lawer lips". This is pretty dangerous. I think it was happening because the paint from the dropouts was chipping off and acting as a powder-lubricant. Whatever the reason maybe, I kept QR pretty tight for first 100 miles or so. Now that enough paint has scraped off of the dropouts, the problem is gone and QR holds at normal closing tension.

Strange, isnt it?
