I reviewed some models in Dahon and selected Speed P8 in terms of functionality and cost wise. The main purpose is to have a riding with my son. Actually this kind of folding bike is to fit into urban commute, however it would be also good if anyone is interested in a unique design and functions. One problem on my bike is that the gear is slipping on 6 sometimes. I believe this is an individual problem and not big as well. If you want a folding bike for commuting and middle distance of riding, this could be good choice.
Pros:
-Easy to use and handle. Quick folding and carrying.
-With folding, its compact and light for storage and moving
-20/2" Big apple tire contributes a big range of riding from a road to a little rough ground.
Cons:
-Speeds is just 8. If you expect a road rider, its better to buy MTB or Hybrid bike.
- No basic accessories. If you want to have some, its better to consider other models such as Vitesse D7HG or other products.
- No recommend for a long distance riding.
