LIGHTWEIGHT BUT EFFICIENT

I was looking for a vest that could easily be stuffed in the back pocket of my cycling shirt. This fits the bill. Fabric seems thin but once on it does the job of keeping your core warm until you warm up. Not for 40 degrees but anything in high 50s. Fits snug. I ordered a Large & found it tight. I normally wear a womans size 12 but that little extra pre-season insulation prompted me to immediately to back to Fitday.com & start entering everything I ate each day. With 1200 calories/day I found that after about a month in concert with cycling, kayaking, walking,etc, the vest finally felt comfortable. The high collar kept out the wind & the zipper works well. There is stretch at the hips, thank goodness. I love the color as I have an Orbea bike frame & it matches. You should note that the material is quite sheer so you can see your cycling shirt underneath. Also, this is an older style: the price was right but there are newer vests, with removeable arms (more to carry) & much higher prices. All in all it works for me.
