Fast delivery, wonderful company, personalized service and easy to reach for questions, and i love my new rear bicycle light. thank you! I definitely recommend PedalPoweredUSA and will be using them again.
An art object, not a safety light.     On: 2009-07-28

These caught my attention at a local bike shop. They looked unconventionally designed, but came recommended by the staff. First the pros:

* Easy to mount.
* Very stylish.

But the gekkos style is without function: the silicone casing tears with remarkable ease when batteries need changing, and the power button is so large as to make placing the gekko into a backpack, or pocket, a near certain way of turning it on and draining its batteries while it lies unattended.

The light I received also seemed to "forget" about the batteries placed inside. My gekko will stop flashing after minutes (with new batteries inside of it, mind you). If needed, I can buy another five minutes of on-off blinking through prying open the lights casing, taking out the AAAs and reinserting them. Imagine having to stop on a nightly commute 12 times an hour to do this, and youll have a sense of my antipathy for this product.

Simple and great and uses AAA battery.     On: 2009-05-03

This is a simple product that is not flashy and will not attract the attention of thieves. It is very simple to take on and off and is does not seem to mind a quick rain. Best of all, it uses a normal AAA battery- no expensive and short lived button batteries. Great product.
I love these lights     On: 2009-02-23

I really like Knog lights. I use this as a taillight and the Skink as a headlight. The design for both are secure and very simple. There are no screws or anything. Its just one silicone piece encasing the batteries (you stretch an opening to pull them out) and then the whole thing wraps around your handlebars/seatpost or whatever else you can manage to wrap them around. I think these lights are well-designed, better than other lights Ive had and I dont think Ill go back to using them or to any other traditional-looking bike lights. Im going to buy Knog lights for my other bikes. I think theyre so great everyone should have some.
Terribly designed power button.     On: 2008-11-06

I would give this 5 stars. Its bright and the clasping mechanism seems solid. However, the power button is very poorly designed. It is easy to see in Amazons product photo that the power button is the same size and shape as the three LEDs and lined up with them. This button is very sensitive, and with how far it sticks out from the unit it is very easy to bump the button. Forget putting the light in a bag or pocket when not in use. I have opened my bag in the morning to find that the button was bumped in the night and left on all night. Very inefficient. If you plan on keeping this mounted to your bike at all times, that may be fine. Do not expect to take this off and easily place it into a back or pocket, however.
