It may be cheap but...

I chose this fender because it was the cheapest - also it mounts directly to a suspention fork and with a front mud guard and supposedly easy to take off scince it only uses one bolt to hold it on.

out of the box this fender is not pretty at all, and the aluminum mount looked tacky, so i painted it flat black, problem solved. After bolting it to my fork, I noticed that it didnt align with the wheel and the bracket had to be bent so the front part didnt scrape the wheel. I ended up having to add 10mm of washers behind the bolt.

Taking it off is no picnic, requiring tools and lots of little nuts and washers to lose. I lost the originals and have got a few spares just in case.

With everything tweaked, it works fine and deflects rain well, keeping my sheos dry, even in steady rain. It still looks very ugly with a squarish profile.
