very expensive, very heavy and very secure

I ride a bicycle daily and this is my go-to lock when I have to lock up in a higher risk area.

If I want to lock up on the street for a prolonged period, when we take our bikes on vacation, or just when I want to KNOW that the bike will be there when I get back. I purchased the longer version so we can lock up multiple bikes.

The cover completely covers the chain, preventing scratches. The chain connects quickly and easily. The lock mechanism operates smoothly.

As mentioned, this is a very heavy chain. You will likely want to carry it on a rack, though I do put it in a backpack occasionally. If you are only using it for one bike, I would recommend a shorter version.
