Outstanding! A Beautiful DVD That Allows You To Enjoy The Big Island.

I have almost all of the Bike-O-Vision Cycling DVDs. I havent been to Hawaiis Big Islad in person, but after cycling it, I feel like Ive been there. I found myself checking to see if there were any little local restaurants to stop in and get some lunch, just as I would have if I had been there on vacation. At one point I found myself looking for a place I might want to live. How far do I want to be from town? I have visited Kauai, which I believe may be the least commercialized of all the Hawaiian Islands and I cant wait for the Kauai DVD to come out. It doesnt really matter what comes out next. Ill probably buy it and enjoy it. These are great ways to stay fit! The time just zips by and my exercise is done for the day. Often I keep going. Its just that much fun. I look forward to my "vacation" time every day.

Not what I expected

I have the So Utah bike o vision DVD and I love it! I was anxious to try Hawaii and I was disappointed. I found the DVD to be very dreary and boring. I think if they had made the video when the sun was shining it would have been a completely different video. It was overcast and rainy throughout most of the video. There were beautiful beach shots and inland shots but the video could not hold my interest due to the lack of sunshine. I would not recommend this video if you are like me and prefer the sun to keep you motivated.

Taking a Bike Ride in Hawaii

Due to a knee injury, I am unable to go out walking like I used to. An exercise bike was given to me but I hated watching television shows or listening to just music when I used the bike. I ran across the Bike-O-Vision Cycling DVDs and I was hooked. I set my bike up close to the television and started the dvd. This is a bike ride seen from the riders view. You go biking around the Big Island of Hawaii and I am completely lost in the ride. You find yourself gazing back and forth at the sights, watching out for cars...LOL, and just take a bike ride. I encourage people to use these tapes when using your stationary bikes. It is great!

Great workout DVD

I watch this DVD while on the treadmill and it certainly makes the time go faster. There is some beautiful scenery here. Some of the sections are a little less visually appealing - long shots of roadway - but overall impressive for what it is. The music is better off muted, and some of the cutaways to the landscape rushing by takes away from the effect, but these are niggling complaints. I imagine this would be great for an exercise bike - the speed is a little quicker than I jog. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Ride in Hawaii! Best ever!

Incredible Bike-O-Vision journey throughout the Big Island Hawaii. The beauty of this Pacific island is so different with active volcano smoke plumes amidst the jungles, and volcanic rock along the sand beaches. Really amazing. A less visited Hawaiian island than others that have become more commercialized over the years, its natural remote beauty really shines through in this video. As an regular cyclist Id been waiting for this DVD as I have all the other rides and theyve been great. Theyre excellent compliments to my indoor workouts because the visual perspective of the roads coming at you make you want to push forward. They work for me. I get over an hours worth of visual ride and it makes my time fly.
