The Total Bike frame and seat height calculator is based formulas originated by the engineer, Wilfried Hüggi, and one of Greg LeMond's cycling coaches, Cyrille Guimard. These are for "normal" road and mountain bike sport / performance riding. They are the foundation of most fitting systems in use today.
Our calculator will provide a you a good starting point for determining the frame that will fit you.
With you back against a wall stand barefooted with your feet about 8 inches apart. Place a straight edge ruler against your crotch.
Holding the ruler parallel to the floor, have someone measure the distance from the top of the ruler to the floor. To get the most accurate measurement
repeat the process serveral times and take the average measurement.
